“One of the top 3 restaurants in Dutchess County. Food is definitely gourmet, and not just standardized Mexican food, but food cooked with Mexican flare. We had the BBQ ribs, Empanadas, and Pineapple Tacos. Everything was seasoned to perfection, and the taste of the street corn was a delicious taste I never experienced before. I only give atmosphere 4 stars since that location was never the greatest to work with as a restaurant. Service was attentive and pleasant. Sangria was one of the best I have had as it was not sugared down, yet had body to it. Would love for this place to get a better location, as the food blows away many other fine dining establishments close by.“

Last time we went our son wasn't in the mood for Mexican food but we dragged him anyway and he end up getting chicken wings, and I tell you, oh, my, those chicken wings were great! “I’ve been to Cilantro twice. It has mixed reviews, but I’m not one to be scared off by those. The first time I had the enchiladas de mole poblano y pollo. I try mole often because I love chocolate and the idea of it in a sauce intrigues me. Cilantro’s mole is the best I’ve ever tasted with a richness and depth of flavor I haven’t had elsewhere. My husband had the chicken taco salad and was impressed as well. They did not skimp on the chicken and it didn’t taste like Cisco chicken. Last night I had the black bean and mango salad. It was good but I ate some of it with chips as it was sweet and their salsa is sweet too. House margs are $1.50 off during happy hour - bringing them to $8.50 at the time of this review. José was attentive and my meal came quickly last night.“

My wife and I are from New York City and I didn't expect a restaurant in Poughkeepsie to blow our taste buds away (no offense Poughkeepsie, we love you). The ambiance and decor is also very fun, lots of colorful Mexican artwork and designs. The service was great our two entrees (taco al pastor and vegetarian burrito) were ready in about 10 minutes. My vegetarian burrito was served with a mountain of French fries. We will definitely be coming back here (possible on the same trip, yeah, it's one of those restaurants that you could visit twice on the same trip!). “We had been driving for quite a while and we were too tired to cook so we decided to try Kokopelli's takeout. The Sierra chicken wrap was made with spicy grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and melted, fresh mozzarella. It was so moist and delicious with a little bit of a kick. The wrap was stuffed with lots of yummy chicken and I really loved it. The seasoned fries were also great. They were a little cold by the time I got home but I'm betting they're super good hot out of the fryer. I would definitely get this again and it makes me extra happy that it's grilled chicken and not battered and fried. The hubby ordered the Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta, and he thought it was also very good. Two huge pieces of chicken Parmesan with bread, side salad, and penne pasta smothered in sauce was exactly what the doctor ordered to recoup from that long drive. I look forward to trying other things like the wings and the Mexican food. The order was ready by the time I got there and the servers were nice. This is not a fancy place to eat...super casual like a deli but with limited seating.“

“We took a group of people there and really enjoyed it. We are very used to Mexican food having traveled extensively in Mexico and also now live in San Diego. Mexican food is hard to be in San Diego this place came pretty close. Even though we had a very large group took excellent care of us. The Queso was a little different than we expected and rice didn't seem to have as much flavor as others I've tried but everyone has their days. I did like that you got rice with tacos though. We absolutely feel in love with the menu at our tasting and the food at our wedding was cooked to perfection. We got married at Locust Grove, which has a full kitchen setup.Our guest raved about the food for weeks! (We’re still hearing about it from friends and family). The beef tenderloin was fantastic, our guests raved about how perfect it was cooked, a true feat especially when prepared in mass (150 guests). Everyone loved the chicken empanadas, the mojo chicken, the charcuterie cones, and the tuna tartar. We opted for a vegetarian pállela for our vegan/vegetarian friends and it was a hit. The deal was sealed when everyone lined up for seconds of dessert, Flan and Ice Cream.The staff was also exceptional and we want to shout out Melissa and Danielle for making it the best day of our lives. “This place is pretty good. It seems that they had a name change. We wanted something to eat that was in the area and this place stood out. We go in and got a seat. It was about 1:30 and the place was empty though people came in and made orders to go. The waitress also seemed to be cooking in The back. The manager was also there to help us pick from their menu. We ordered our drinks and i got an horchata. This horchata was delicious and gigantic. They also brought nacho chips with beans to eat while we wait for our order and they were so good. I got a simple order of steak tacos. The meat was good and tender i do wish that their hot sauces were spicier as i prefer it spicy. We also got a plate of chicken that seems to be fried in a sweet batter. It was tasty but I wasn't a big fan of the sweet batter. There was also an order of tamales de molé which tasted a little dry butt spicy. Overall the place and food was a solid 4/5.“

“So was in the area and saw this place. All I can say is wow, I'll be back. they have fresh Agua Fresca (fruit water). I got chicken torta, chicken/carnitas tacos and a few waters. Everything was really good just think the horchata could be better. Overall food atmosphere and service is great. It is outdoor seating and they even a small garden eating area on the other end of the parking lot. Try them, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: It's outside with tables. “I haven't had a bad meal here! The restaurant is nicely decorated and we were waited in fairly efficiently until it came time to get the check. The margarita was delicious! I had two tacos and a side of beans and rice. The chicken tinga tacos were a little salty but I still enjoyed it. They were quick to serve us chips and salsa when we arrived. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't yet!“
