“I googled restaurants offering take out in this area while visiting a friend in Haines Falls. The roasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and multi color carrots were all cooked perfectly with great attention paid to the quality of the food and its presentation. The apple crisp dessert was an amazing treat, too. It was well worth the upscale casual pricing. Very friendly staff inside the establishment. “Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. “I love this place and go there every time I have an opportunity. The fried chicken is excellent and juicy! They complementary popcorn and it is great for kids to enjoy before the main meal arrives. The service is excellent and prices moderate.“

“We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.
