Something's aren't meant to change and if you need catering I wouldn't hesitate to use Fireside or get an egg sandwich in the morning. “We had Mohit (Maya Grill Owner) cater for our son’s graduation party. Throughout the process Mohit was very professional and gave us good suggestions for the menu considering the demographics of the guests. He also accommodated special Jain food request for small number of guests. His staff arrived way before the party time to start preparing food onsite. They continuously served hot appetizers for the entire time. All guests praised the food and the service. As a host, we were so busy that we didn’t get to try many of the appetizers. He was so nice that he invited us to his restaurant and made all those things again for us. We highly recommend Mohit (Maya Grill).“

Unique dessert option that the kids loved was campsite s'mores where they can roast marshmallows at the table with a personal little fire. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall atmosphere was nice with larger parties able to be accommodated in a larger, brighter room while main dining room was more cozy with smaller booths/tables and darker ambiance. Parking is tight, but there is a larger municipal lot across the street. Can't wait to go back!“

“We certainly picked the right caterer for our backyard wedding. From the beginning of planning the menu to the event everything was perfect. Danielle was amazing to work with planning the menu to suit our budget. Making adjustments as needed. Joe and Danielle came out the week before to view the site and give advice on how to set things up. The day of the event they were amazing. Came in took charge and handled everything so I could enjoy the day. The food and staff were amazing. I got complements on everything!!!! The event was everything we imagined and more!“

“This store has been our favorite family store for years, ever since my firstborn was a toddler (and now he’s over 10!). This place is like a mini amusement park for kids. There are buttons to press, characters to wave to, music, animatronics: it keeps them entertained while I try to get some shopping done.

We especially love their seasonal events. Around Halloween, they always have cute themed setups and candy stops for the kids, which makes every visit feel like a little adventure. And let’s not forget the ice cream: honestly, that’s our main reason for coming sometimes! The vanilla is a classic, and the rewards program lets you collect points for free coffee or a sweet treat, which is a total mom-win after a long day.

While I don’t do my main grocery haul here (they don’t carry everything), it’s an easy, enjoyable shopping trip, low-stress and family-friendly. Their sushi is surprisingly decent and made fresh on-site. They also have a hot food bar, some items are hit or miss for my taste, but the soups are consistently good.

We’ve also enjoyed the lobster rolls and the fun weekend BBQ setup outside in the summer - burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill, which adds to the experience.

The staff is always friendly, and the whole store just has a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re a parent on Long Island, this is definitely a spot to check out (especially if your kids are cranky and you need coffee and entertainment in one place!).“

“We used Carolyn's Kitchen for our baby shower last weekend and the food was very tasty. Carolyn had good communication leading up to the event and worked with us to make a custom menu. On the day of the event she arrived a little late for set up, but the guests didn't notice. Her and her son were kind and served our guests buffet style. We would definitely use her catering services again. We ordered rasta pasta, wings (jerk and lemon pepper), Mac and cheese egg rolls, plantain cups (vegan), and garden salad. Carolyn and her son packed up the food and then laid out the dessert cups: peach cobbler and banana pudding. My husband is still talking about the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious!“

“I found this after my midnight workout driving down DPA coming home from the gym. Little pricey(but what isnt) but all in all, the food was down right delicious. Then a week later, I got a craving for it again. Mix and match what you want in the wraps or bowl, LIttle of this , little of that, put that sauce here on the side. The hot salsa has a kick.“

We heard the culinary studio mentioned multiple times so we went with them. We are so glad we did. The food was incredible. The staff was perfect and not overbearing at all. They maybe had one or two questions for us at the beginning and then let my mom and I just enjoy the party. Everyone raved about the quality of the food, and they were right, it was delicious. “Just left Roccos Pizza and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Pete. He’s an absolutely gentleman and I wish him and the new pizzeria plenty of luck. I just say that the place was immaculately clean and has an old school Italy feel to it. Tried the Drunken Grandma Pie and it was delicious! It clearly has a homemade sauce and was made with the freshest of ingredients. They also have a great family meal deal where you get a pie, a dozen knots and a dozen wings. I’ll be looking to get that for Sunday football in the weeks to come! I will absolutely be back to try all the other food that Roccos has to offer! **Highly recommend**“

“I recently visited Long Island NY, and stopped at Nina’s Deli and catering for lunch. I was greeted by a very friendly staff with wonderful hospitality. I ordered an Italian Hero Sub and it was a absolutely delicious, made just the right way. Meat, cheese, bread and peppers were so fresh! Best Hero I ever have. We were 7 adults and 5 kids under 5 years of age and she served up a triple appetizer platter for pre-dinner cocktails as well as a plated 3 course dinner for each of us in my home with a well thought out menu we helped created with her. The food was unbelievable - surf & turf for adults with a specially prepared kid friendly dinner as well -- ending with a mouthwatering mousse cake! Utmost professional service, totally prepared and served by a warm, friendly, attentive waitress, Victoria. They were a dynamic team and I can't say enough about sitting back and having these wonderful women do all the work as we sat back to enjoy the celebration. “Northside Deli Catering is the best in town. Guests were raving about the Philly cheese steak and chicken heroes, salads, chicken tenders, and penne vodka. Thoughtful touches like including extra sauce for the pasta were appreciated. Everything was ready on time for my pickup and made feeding 35 guests a breeze!“
