“I was literally having the worst day of my life today and all I wanted was a kfc bowl made a certain way and the guy made it for me no problem and I asked for extra gravy with my mashed potatoes and he gave me extra for sure- thank you kfc!!!“
“I ordered some chickens and sides last Sunday. Food was good except the sweet potato fries that was overcooked.The original extra crispy chicken was 5/5. It was good with mild Sweet and spicy sauce on the side.The soy garlic wings was 3.5/5. It is because wings were too small.The chicken thighs was 4/5. I didn't like that chicken thighs were chopped in small pieces. Also, extra crispy breading would've been better than the original breading.French fries 5/5, mochi cheese donuts 5/5, Onion rings 5/5, Sweet potato fries 2/5.Overall, I would definitely reorder from the Pelicana, Plainview for sure. Hope they do better on Sweet potatoes fries next time.“
“We tried Beach Bird for the first time today during the first week of March 2024.What a pleasant surprise!We happened to arrive early to pick up the food and had to wait for a few minutes. Which we appreciate since the food was being prepared fresh for the pickup time on the order.The vibe in this casual restaurant is welcoming and fresh with a beach bird (!) theme.One can sit inside or outside overlooking historic Oyster Bay.While waiting for our food we were chatting with the person at the counter. We were curious about what condiments that are prepared fresh on the premise since they offer so many!The person was very informed as to the details of what they have to offer.We took the food home and were very pleased with the freshness of sandwich and salad.The chicken was fried to perfection and so moist. The in-house madeavocado ranch dressing was in combination with very fresh greens and that perfectly fried chicken very good.The salad and sandwich all together was $30.That is what to be expected now. And with the quality of the food that Beach Bird has to offer we can live with that.I would recommend enjoying a meal in this super cute and spotless restaurant any day.But for my family we will probably make this our takeout place this summer for picnics on and off shore.“
“This is a fast food take-out or eat-in. The people who work there are always friendly i often will stop in if im in the area and never had a bad experience. Although I never stayed to eat, the place is always clean so I gave the atmosphere 5 stars the rest was earned.“
“This is great fried chicken. Love the taste. Thanks Pollo Campero for coming to our town. The chicken is definitely higher quality than KFC and Popeyes but delicious, crispy and has a special spice blend different than the other places. Muy bien!“
