“Purchased this beautiful unicorn cake yesterday! It’s so freaking cute & was delicious! I tried the strawberry soft serve which was dairy free & made with oat milk. It was ok for what it was. Don’t think I’d purchase that one again. They did have about 4-5 options that were dairy free & cannot wait to try those next! Zhao helped us (as per the receipt) & she was so kind & gave phenomenal service. Very quick too. The store itself was so clean & they had a ton of options as far as cakes go and even the frozen ice cream section. Will definitely come back again & again ?

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! Homemade ice cream and chocolates are also delicious! I can honestly say I never had a bad meal at the Hicksville Sweet Shop! Thank you Eva, Phil, Harry, Walter, Alma, Jeannie & Clair❤️e!“

“What a wonderful place to indulge! Jess took very good care of us. Very sweet, personable, and added to our positive experience. We chose a vanilla raspberry chocolate ice cream shake. The best flavored shake we've ever enjoyed! We wound up going back 2 weeks later to enjoy it again. We'll definitely be visiting here again and again.. They have plenty of seating and a bathroom on site for customers. Definitely recommend checking them out!.“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

“Have been going to this location for about 5 years and at least twice a week in peak season. The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. She does a beautiful job keeping the location spotless and makes sure my family’s order is handled quickly. Everything we get there is always delicious!“

“Wow! Alkemy Ice Cream is amazing! I def recommend trying it! And especially for a birthday party! My entire experience was fantastic! I stumbled upon Alkemy Ice cream while looking for something unique for a birthday and the owner Alan explained how they do birthday parties almost like a show AND make the dessert. They can host a party at the shop OR they can come to you! I was unsure how it would go but Alan was super friendly, answered all my questions throughly and assured me I would love it. I more than loved it! It was the best ever and we are still talking about it. They came to my house and put on a show for the kids that even they are still talking about how cool it was. It was like having a party and adding a surprise guest with a special science experiment show for additional entertainment that makes amazing unique dessert at the end! Each ice cream was perfectly made and was fresh! The toppings were all fresh as well. Watching the show was fascinating and the kids had so much fun learning. They continued to amaze guests as they made each ice cream right there. I wasn’t sure if each kid would be waiting a while but it didn’t take long to get all the kids ice cream after the show. They whipped it up fast and everyone got to pick toppings and have a perfectly made ice cream quickly. They didn’t need a lot of room and even cleaned up! I so happy to have found them and I will be having them come back again! Start to finish was a perfect experience. I highly recommend them!!!“

“I can’t say enough good things about Kool Kat Ice Cream Truck! I reached out to treat my daughter and her friends at her small school, and while other places turned me down because it was a small order, Kool Kat happily said yes. They made these kids so unbelievably happy! The man who came was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to make sure every child got exactly what they wanted. “Would be a 5 but there are no public bathrooms which seems sketchy to me because I thought all dine in establishmentts (they had seating prior to COVID) had to provide bathrooms. Prices compared to portions is insane but that's just the times we live in.“

“Ralphs Italian Ices are always great. It was on the visit bucket list since my kids have never had them. As always the food was great. The staff, not so much. They seemed bothered by us being there, and both seemed to be having a miserable day. “Their location has changed since the picture was posted. They’ve reopened nearby and introduced a variety of new flavors. My favorite has been the acai bowl, but you really can't go wrong with their cream or water ices. Their banana shake is just as delightful as any of their other specialty shakes and ice creams. I believe I visit them 3 to 4 times a week.“

“I go to visit relatives in Northport a couple of times a year. I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before! I've driven by and noticed it but it kind of blends in.

I ordered 3 sandwiches (Rosa, Amore and Porchetta). I was a little concerned that the sandwiches might be on the small side, based on the images on the website. Well, let me tell you, these sandwiches are huge. One sandwich could be lunch and dinner (one half each meal) for a majority of people.

And the meatballs are tender with a delicious tangy marinara. These meatballs are better than Maroni down the street and much less expensive.

Sandwiches were so good, I picked up another for the beach the next day (La Nonna meatball sandwich). It was fantastic but did not come with any red sauce. Maybe they forgot it, I dunno. But I also ordered more meatballs and used that sauce to dip the sandwich

The macchiato was great. I am quite particular about coffee. This coffee was flavorful and strong

“I had such an amazing experience at Ralph’s Ice Cream, and it’s all thanks to Mia! From the moment I got to there she greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel like a valued customer right away. Even though there was a bit of a line she stayed calm, upbeat, and professional the entire time. She handled each order with care and patience, making sure everyone got exactly what they wanted without ever seeming rushed or overwhelmed.When it was my turn, I had a few specific requests for my order and Mia didn’t hesitate or get annoyed like some people might. Instead she listened carefully, gave great suggestions, and made sure everything came out perfect. The way she took the time to double-check and make my treat exactly the way I like it showed how much pride she takes in her job. On top of that, she kept such a positive vibe that it made the whole experience even better something you don’t always get at places that are super busy.
Honestly, workers like Mia are rare. She goes above and beyond just taking orders she creates a whole experience that makes customers want to come back. She’s respectful, hardworking, and truly cares about doing her job well. I hope Ralph’s management sees how lucky they are to have someone like her on their team. “This location was renovated in the last couple of years and has maintained the cleanliness well! This location has a drive-through, spacious parking lot and outdoor seating. They have a full menu as this is a standalone location. We have had the doughnados, mint madness milkshake, all of the cream and regular ices are always fresh.“

“Just another frozen yogurt place. Honestly, it was a bit pricey without the size value. I feel as though the cups weren't as... full as they could have been. A little good a long way in that respect and it doesn't cut into profit margins too much. Clean store, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.“

“Cheap ice cream 10$ for a quart. Milkshakes are huge and painful but tasty. Not only is it a place you can eat inside and it shouldn't be full. It's a place where you can pick up and go.

Vegetarian options: Ice cream is pretty vegitarian if I do say so myself.
