“One of the friendliest places I have been too. I am a vegetarian and they took time to explain what was vegetarian. The service is surpassed only by the food. “Solid sandwiches! I was so sad when Village Heros closed down and began my search yet again for that Soul-satisfying sandwich... Roast is in the running! Got the Cubano and the Country Fried Chicken sandwiches - so tasty!! Also enjoyed the house made fries - ordered two for two people but one order would have sufficed. Great portions! The only downside (very slight) would be the Mac and Cheese - not bad but not great. It was the only hiccup during the whole meal. Service was quite friendly and efficient; the seating area was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and, if you have room for dessert, Ralph's is just a couple of steps away (during the warmer days).“

“This is a great Panera location! The employees are always helpful and friendly. The light coffee here was excellent yesterday with a little sugar plus some half and half. The cashier also told me about my available free bagel and also the expiration date for it.Parking: If the lot behind Panera is full, you can drive across the street and park behind the Golden Dolphin restaurant.“

“I just went to Kashi tonight for their grand re-opening. I brought my two daughters with me . We had the absolute best time! What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredible. The food was sooo delicious. The server/ bartender Joe was the best . I’ve never had such a genuine, attentive professional and warm person serving me at a place . “As I was standing online in the Deer Park Panera Bread, a short Hispanic man was seen sprinkling coffee grounds in the coffee filter. As he was sprinkling the coffee grounds he began EATING the coffee GROUNDS out of the filter with his bare hands. THIS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES! I went to the Hispanic young lady at the registered to describe his behavior. She proceeded to go to speak with him with her back turned to me. I then proceeded to inform the manager! She replied in a nonchalant manner, “thanks for letting me know.”BEWARE THIS IS UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY!!! I wondered if the rest of the coffee was CONTAMINATED WITH HIS SALIVA!!!“
“Ordered delivery this evening. We are in Bay Shore and they charged $2 for the delivery. Called at 7:05 and it arrived by 7:30 so very quick delivery. Food arrived hot and good packaging. Food tasted good and good quality. Loin had a slight fish taste to us though. But everything else was great. Would order from here again.“

They can always be counted on to deliver, consistent quality Chinese dinners without any fanfare, hassle, or surprises. Would I put them in the class as a Ruth Chris steakhouse? Probably not. But I would put them as a reliable, good Chinese takeout that you can count on. They have, of course menu items, but also will customize the dishes to your preference.“
