“I had a great experience coming to Queen City Lounge this past weekend. The bartenders were so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming, and fun. “Updated to add: Since writing my initial review below, just 24 hours ago, they have changed wing prices to $1/wing, 10 wings maximum, and the special only runs from 5-7. Really bummed about the change. I won't be changing the number of stars here but definitely will be visiting less frequently, as the time change and price jump doesn't work for me --------- If I could recommend one place in the Hudson valley for wings, it's the anchorage. They are SO good! Wing night is on Thursday and they are 75cents/wing with a max of 15 per person. The wings aren't small and lacking in meat like a lot of places and the flavor is incredible. This place is definitely off the beaten path (tucked inside of a boat marina) and parking is a bit small so I recommend carpooling if you can. Super relaxed and casual atmosphere. No frills or unnecessary add-ons. Just good food and a good time. Service can be a little slow, but that may be because we went on wing night. I'd say be prepared to spend a little time there. Definitely not a dine and dash. We didn't partake in the drinks but they have $5 margaritas and they looked delicious. If you love wings, you'll love this place“
“Ordered food to go twice in 1 week, wife loves their pierogis, and I got the burger cus of the meat blend (short rib/chuck) is delicious. First time it was great, but the 2nd order was obviously a different chef as it was all over-cooked. The Reuben had less meat than they used to have in it. Still mostly a good value, and delicious food when it's cooked correctly.“
“What a great place. I wasn't expecting to be there that night but was invited by some coworkers. I was at the bar for a bit and brought some takeout home for the family (munchie platter) which was yummy. The staff was very friendly with just the right amount of comfortable fun banter to make it feel like I had been coming there for a long time.Keep it up!“
“Went in at about 5pm. Not too busy. We were seated right away and not only did the host Caden (sp?) seat us, he took our drink order and brought the drinks. The pistachio martini was pretty darned good. Then Trent took over as our waiter. Very personable and efficient. Funny, nice guy. We placed our order and our salad and soup came right out. Salad was great, but the potato cheddar soup was awesome. Entree’s arrived and my Irish Beef Stew was perfect. My wife’s stuffed salmon was 5 star. We felt like we were eating gourmet food in an upscale pub. Well done Mahoney’s! We’ll be back.Parking: Plenty of parking on a Wednesday night, may be tough to park on a weekend night.“

“Great Philly cheesesteak! The bread is home made. Freshly baked. Crispy from outside, great texture inside! The potato fries are freshly fried, the draft beer - a variety of choices. Wonderful service, very polite and helpful staff! The music is nice and not too loud.“
