“One of my kids has pretty intense food anxiety and basically is only comfortable eating chicken fingers and fries when we go out to eat. Making it hard on the rest of the family as that limits our dining choices often. We were really excited to find the kids menu here. The sushi, ramen, AND chicken fingers and fries were all excellent, the prices and portions are good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.“

“The rolls were made beautifully and the service was with style and kindness. I did miss the personal attention of a waitress or waiter. Also, there was no seating in at the aushi bar where the chef works. Watching the chef make sushi was always was a draw for me which left me feeling like I missed part of the experience.“

“We’ve lived in penfield for 7 years and we finally went here and it was SO good! The sushi tastes extremely fresh. Prices are very reasonable. We ate in the restaurant, but it’s definitely more of a takeout place. I probably wouldn’t eat in the restaurant again. But I can’t wait to try more rolls!“

“Some of the best sushi in Rochester. Everything is clearly made to order and always very fresh. My husband doesn’t typically like sushi, but he loves the Samba roll. Volcano roll is another great one. But the seared tuna appetizer might be our favorite! This has become our go-to place for date night.“
“One of my favorite places to go to dinner. Their sushi is my favorite, and I'm always craving the coconut shrimp & red dragon rolls. We had the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was delicious. Food came out quick and service great as always.“

“Incredibly fresh sushi and a classic katsu curry rice plate! Easily the most authentic Japanese restaurant you’ll find in the area. I love that they give you a cold washcloth to clean your hands before eating. Our meal came with miso soup and salad which was great too! No frills, just classic comforts in a cute little restaurant :) Looking forward to coming back!“

“Great sushi. My personal favorite in the Greater Rochester area. Friendly family, and I love that it is a family owned and operated business. We have been going here for years, and it never disappoints. I told my wife the only reason I don't want to move out of the area in retirement is Bento‐Ya. 😂“

“We stopped in for lunch for the first time the other day. The people who work there are very nice, along with a nice casual atmosphere. The food was excellent! We weren't fond of the drinks (too sweet). Definitely worth a return trip and is recommended for everyone!“

“I'm not sure I agree with the claim that it is the best sushi in Rochester, but I will say that I think it's among the best sushi VALUES in this area. Overall the food was very good. We ordered a Bento Box A, edamame, two rolls and an order of dumplings. The Bento Box A was simply a massive amount of food. It could easily be split between two people. The salad and soup are standard fare and reasonably forgettable, but definitely not poor quality. The five pieces of sushi and the California roll were fresh, well made and tasted great. The dumplings were delicious. We set aside the teriyaki chicken as a snack to have another day because there was simply too much food to have at one sitting, and the vegetable and shrimp tempura were very very good. We got our food to go but went in to get it. The interior feels a little rundown, but appeared to be clean and was comfortable. I would definitely order food from them again.“

“i’ve ordered from Lin’s multiple times now(only by DD delivery) & i have not once been disappointed. it arrives quickly and always fresh. i would have pictures of the food if i weren’t immediately scarfing it down the second it gets delivered. the hot and sour soup has become my go-to comfort food. thank you for feeding me!<3 you guys are the best!“

“Gosto do Osaka mas hoje tive uma experiência ruim no delivery, os pratos quentes estavam frios e os fritos estavam murchos, não sei se os produtos são fritos no começo da noite ou se o restaurante liberou o pedido antes e não atualizou o delivery liberando para ir buscar, tanto que após 30 min de ter ido buscar o aplicativo estava mostrando a mesma coisa “pedido em preparação”. Só um aviso para se atentaram mais ao delivery!“

“The atmosphere was Amazing!!! Edward Lee guy made our experience 2x better. This is the place for a good laugh. But unfortunately at the very end there was a cleaning man that full on was staring at me and didn’t stop when I caught him like 3 times. That made me feel uncomfortable.“

Hibachi is fairly priced, lots of fun, and great for groups celebrating. A full course meal makes it easy to pick and get some of my all time favorites.“
