Signature Rolls (raw) the King of the Ocean was our favorite and highly recommend!!! “All of the food we had was very good. Sushi was really good although the conveyor seemed to be repetitive and lacking choices, particularly tuna. We could have very easily ordered from the menu, but it is so fun to watch the conveyor in anticipation of what is coming next. The robot delivery drinks was pretty cool and a first for me. The service staff was very efficient at keeping the table clear and helpful with teaching you how the process and tablet works.“

“Can’t believe I’ve been living in Webster for three years now and I’ve only just been to here. I got takeout and did a little shopping which was a nice timeburner while I waited for my food. Food is amazing: I got the gyu-don rice bowl and I added some kimchi that I bought separately. So so good!!“

“One of my top go to restaurants in Rochester. The staff are extremely nice and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the spicy basil Thai noodles or the scallop hibachi. Their miso soup is the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a very down to earth Japanese/ Hibachi restaurant, Tokyo is the place to be.One thing I do wish is that they cook the hibachi in front of you instead of in the kitchen. The restaurant is definitely too small to have even one table to do that. However, it's well worth the price and the flavor to go here without the experience.“

“Succulent and delectable best describe the meal we had recently. (I would add "scrumptious" but I've been told I use that word too often in my reviews.) From the creative cocktail list (from which I ordered a delightful and girly drink, according to my wife) to the sushi nachos (plenty spicy!), the overall experience was superb. Our server (Jacob) was more than knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and allowed our party of 4 plenty of time to decide what to order and later - to linger as we enjoyed the homemade ice cream sampler. “I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!“

“Wow! Thank you! Such a great date night. I called early in the day on a Saturday and they were pretty full with reservations but I asked about coming right at 5 and they got us in. I wish I could remember the bartender/waitresses name, Jess I think?!? She was AMAZING! The entire place filled up so quick and she just danced around and was so pleasant! She was a whole vibe! The rest of the service staff didn’t come until closer to 6 and all the tables and bar were full. She didn’t skip a beat. She recommended my new favorite roll of all time, south beach. I also ordered the sushi bar salad and asked if we could get an extra bowl. They split it and presented it so beautifully! I wish I had a picture. This is also now my all time favorite. “Finally ordered takeout, just a few simple rolls (hamachi and a couple spicy ones) and some Nigiri (sake and hamachi). It was wonderful. Very fresh fish. Rice was a great temperature. I’m so grateful this place exists. I wish they were open for lunch.Parking: Small in the back“

“This is a really fabulous sushi spot nestled in Village Gate. They have a nice mix of standard fare and really creative rolls. Our favorites are Sunny Day and Sweet Potato Tempura, though everything we've tried on multiple visits is fantastic and fresh. They also have a really interesting and tasty Seaweed Duo Salad. For the non-sushi eater, don't hesitate to order their ramen. It is wonderfully prepared. Service has also always been friendly and fast. Special requests were accommodated with a smile. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good. If the weather is nice, enjoy dinner on their patio. This is one of our favorite spots in the city. It will not disappoint!“

The Mac and cheese was not hot, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was too tight. We enjoyed our time. Might think twice before I ordered the Mac and cheese. “Decided to check this out. And we left very happy. First off, it's off street parking. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night so it wasn't busy yet. We were seated right away and they brought out miso soup and water. There's a QR code on each table that you scan to get access to the menu for online ordering. When they say "all you can eat", they mean it. Only thing not included is drinks which they have an assortment - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We enjoyed all of our selections except the kimchi was not to our taste. The fried soft shell crab was def a favorite. The bathroom was clean but could use some upgrades.“

“Went here at 530 the other day and had a very good dinner. I would go back again which says something as we are picky about our hibachi. The server was pleasant and quick about getting our drinks and order. The mushroom onion soup was probably one of the best ones we've had at this style restaurant with the French's onions actually still crispy. The ginger dressing in the salad was a little sweeter than I've had before but still as good as this salad is anywhere. We also got the Mexican roll and I can't remember the other, but both were super amazing and delicious - even 2 days later. We all got a variety of the hibachi dinners which everyone enjoyed. I had the sogo which is steak, shrimp, and chicken. Everything was cooked correctly and tasted great. The chef was funny and did well but not super interactive - like not a lot of conversation. Did all the typical tricks and show stuff. My one complaint is that the veggies are not cut smaller. The zucchini, green peppers, and broccoli were all big chunks or florets which meant they didn't get as cooked as say the onions and snow peas. Also the yum yum sauce was a little runnier than expected and didn't seem to stick to everything like I'm used to. Overall, very good and will recommend/ return to.“

“My group has been having lunch here for several months. The service is very good, attentive, and courteous. We have always selected the "all you can eat" option. It is indeed all you can eat. We have limited our selection to rolls but shishemi is available. Everything is well presented. The place is small and possibly hard to find. Allow ample time because to food comes out at a leisurely pace.“

“We love Kobe, this is my favorite restaurant in Rochester. When I get it I want it again within a couple days. There’s just so much flavor everyone is so nice. We love everything about it. I haven’t had much luck with the alcoholic drinks I’ve just never tended to like what comes out, but the food is immaculate. Lauren one of the servers is the sweetest girl ever. We hope to get her every time we come. It is expensive tho, I mean it’s hibachi so you expect that, but I think it’s worth it.“
