It was a special after-the-beach day birthday dinner at Artie’s and it was fantastic! Everything was fresh and delicious.
Yummy the best sea 🌊 food
From the NE clam chowder, oyster and steamer appetizers, to the striped bass oreganata and 2lb lobster, everything was fantastic! Our server Kelly couldn’t have been any friendlier. Plus, the market is well stocked and well kept. Definitely stop by!!

Based on the reviews, Artie's and Captain Mike's South Shore Fish Market and Restaurant is a great seafood place with fresh and delicious food. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, with dining available inside and on an outdoor patio. The staff is professional, polite, and friendly, with a very nice waitress and an awesome server. The chef is very accommodating. The menu includes a variety of appetizers and entrees, such as Al dente seafood fra diavolo and a special order of Chilean sea bass broiled perfectly over Manhattan clam chowder. There are also fresh on the shell crab, oysters, and fresh catch of the day. The restaurant has a nice seafood market to buy fresh fish to take home. The owner, Mike, is personable and kind. The room for a party was perfect, with a lot of windows that felt open and bright.
