The flatbread starters are distinctive--at least for a person with an allergy to gluten. The ambience is generally fine. I generally prefer very quiet restaurants. Indeed, I would prefer a room for only my party. However, I am able to hear other people in a party of four with little difficulty in the this restaurant.“

“Wow! I must have sounded like a broken record last night, as I repeatedly said wow and for all the right reasons. From start to finish, this place was top notch! I had the pork chop and the first bite was all I needed to know I’d be back. It was outrageously good. Great food is one thing but the vibe, atmosphere and outstanding service is what makes this place worthy of a visit! I highly recommend this place for all of the above reasons but also bc the owner is a really great stand up guy who made it a point to touch tables and pours amazing cocktails!! I will be back!!!“

“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

My wife had the shrimp tacos, I had the duck tacos and our friend had the cauliflower soup and the beef salad. We always enjoy our meals eating at the West End Cafe. We would not hesitate to recommend it for weekend nights. You necessarily need a reservation.“

The food is just as great as the other locations (Bayside & Rockville Center), which works for us because it's a lot closer ?!Service was spot on, friendly and attentive and the food is to die for! The wait staff is hard working and do their best to accommodate you. It's a nice spot to bring older folks as there are no steps and seating is easy.“

The service was top-notch as well - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Cosmo and my friend ordered the old fashioned. The bartender did an excellent job and both drinks were delicious!

However, the ambiance left something to be desired. The decor felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization to match the quality of the cuisine and service. With a revamp in the ambiance department, this place could easily become a five-star dining destination.
