“Went to Otaki Sushi for lunch and it was worth it. The service was on point; our server was super polite, always checking in, and she made sure our hot tea was never empty. The tea is really good and pipping hot not warm.

We had the salmon teriyaki bento boxes for $14, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The salmon was fresh, no fishy smell, cooked perfectly with a nice crust outside but still moist in the middle, and not drowning in sauce. It comes with broccoli, snow peas, and corn. I like my veggies crunchy so I enjoyed it, but if you like them softer, I’d just mention that when ordering.

The bento also came with California rolls, and those were really good too. Between the portion size, quality, and service, you leave full and happy. Five out of five.“

I went here for a good dinner and was able to try a good spread of sushi for a reasonable cost.We started with the pork gyoza, which was nice and pan-fried with a side of the classic ginger sauce. For rolls, we tried the Philly roll, atlantic beach roll, pink panther roll, and million dollar roll. All fresh and tasty, but nothing really stood out above the rest.I would recommend this place for some good choices of sushi.

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“Went tonight with my family of 5. We were seated with three others at our table. We ordered 3 extra noodles and 3 extra vegetables for our group of 5. When we were served, there was a very tiny portion of noodles and our extra vegetables were split among all 8 people at our table, even though we ordered for our party of 5 and were not with the others. My son ordered extra rice which he didn’t get and I had to wait for the waiter to fry me a steak because he ran out of the first batch. The food tasted good but I didn’t get what I paid for and I am disappointed.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

“The sushi here is REALLY good-- I wolfed down a Sexy Roll that consisted of shrimp tempura, salmon, scallops and spicy mayo-- OMGoodness! I'm going back for more♡(Love the seating [booths] in the front of the restaurant.)

Parking: If you know anything about Rockville Centre-- it is no more than a HUGE parking lot with a plethora of establishments that are merely planted around/within it. We got luck and were able to secure a space on Park Avenue a few hundred feet from the restaurant. Be prepared to drive around the area a few times before finding a suitable spot.“

“This is a superior sushi location. The food is fresh and well prepared. The service is excellent and my order is always ready for pick up when I come by. This is not really an eat-in restaurant although there is a table or two. This is really more for takeout. Very pleasant people. Very fresh food.

Parking: There is no parking lot for this restaurant. You do need to park on the street. You might have to walk a half a block or so but there's parking.

Kid-friendliness: This really isn't a sitdown restaurant so I don't see it as being terribly friendly for children

Wheelchair accessibility: There is room for a wheelchair to get in and to reach the counter. I do not know about accessibility to the restroom. This is more of a takeout restaurant than a sitdown restaurant“
