No matter what my choice of toppings, the meal was always delicious. If you live or work in the Islip area you probablystop by the stand regularly. If you visit Suffolk or Nassau counties, no matter where your staying, Charlie’s is worth a visit. Charlie’s is truly a Long Island landmark.“

“Had a great time at Butera's in Bay Shore last night (despite it being St. Patrick's day Bar Crawl Weekend in the town). The food was outstanding! We had the Gnocchi and Lasagna and I could eat loaves of that bread if given the opportunity. I'm not a fan of Rainbow cookies or desserts in general, but the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake is a must! “A group of us came here on a Sunday around 12:30 after some time in Hecksher Park 10 minute ride away close and convenient for the ride home. The bartender let us try anything on the board, and one of our friends was part of the Hidden Treasure Secret Society, he got a free flight (hiddentreasureli.com). “Never disappointed by TBC. I love the variety on their menu - often different styles of beer from anything else I typically run into at a craft brewery. The space is super roomy, industrial yet comfortable, with plants everywhere, video games, darts, fooseball and other activities. Staff is quirky and fun - we usually go to visit Ashley on Wednesdays and it’s always a great time. There’s often a killer food truck parked outside, and we always make it a point to attend Sundaze at the brewery, the last Sunday of every month - such an awesome weed-friendly event. “Very impressed by how good the beer was. So well balance! Their breakfast stout was probably the best I have ever had and the raspberry sour was so delicious- no synthetic taste just yummy raspberry with a hint of strawberry. So much flavor packed in 3.7%. Their IPA was also so good that we took home the four pack. Just wish the crowler was not the screw on type because we have to drink it within 2 days, but since the beer tastes that good there won’t be a problem consuming it! Definitely worth the trip, you won’t be disappointed I promise you.“

I am a fan of the latter, so that is more of a preference thing which affected my opinion.We also ordered soda which wasn't cold. “I found this place after visiting Sayville on business and seeing my “normal” spot closed, gave this place a try. Ignore the lower rating. These nice owners just took over the business Sept 2023. You can order any egg sandwich with bagel or roll options. They also have omelettes, pancakes and baked goods. Prices and service are both very good. The staff is very friendly. The quality of the food is outstanding - had the egg bagel special one day and a Western Omelette the next. The omelette comes with a bagel all for only $7.99. This will be my new “go to” bagel / breakfast place when I am in town. I highly recommend you give them a try. Look at the reviews since they have owned it from Sept 2023 to current day.“

“I tried many different Chinese take-out restaurants in the area when I moved here 2 years ago. I was really disappointed by the quality until I ordered from New Kings. I'm surprised they don't have a higher rating. The food is consistently good. I just wish they had a few more things on their menu like duck and wontons with shrimp.“

“My husband and I came here twice. First time because they were the only seafood market that opened later than 5pm. Prices were about normal. The second time was to try their hot cooked seafood. The food was really good and seasoned well. Their soups are really good as well. The young man who helped us was nice. The only bad thing that had me traumatized was the bathroom(porta potty). It was like it never been clean sooooooo disgusting( I closed that door super quick and put my entire bottle of hand sanitizer on) it shouldn't be nowhere near the eating area. Maybe they keep it loud to you get out of there quicker because there's always a wait of 45 minutes or more. “The last time I went to an Ice Cream store that provides their own custom flavors was in Carey, North Carolina. This store is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. From what I read; Ice Cream Social has several flavors of ice cream along with vegan flavors. They do have traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough, but they are constantly designing new flavors. I tried many flavors before choosing the pumpkin pie flavor ice cream. But I did also like the apple cider donut and Coco Almond Joy. Next time I will explore other interesting creations. The staff was kind enough to afford me the opportunity to taste many creative flavors. It was not easy to settle on just one flavor. I recall a family member explaining to me what it takes to create these interesting flavors, and he stated it is all in the Cream mix. If you want to enjoy high quality ice cream with many creative flavors, one must indulge in Ice Cream Social.“

“Great entertainment-the club has been largely rebuilt by new ownership, with sound system upgrades, air conditioning, and just long neglected maintenance overall. The espresso service in the morning is great, and the entertainment in the club is great, featuring nationally recognized acts: Paula Poundstone, Patti Lupone, Joey Arias, etc. The Friday night Underwear Party is the biggest and most successful ongoing event in all the surrounding communities.“
