“Sakura is a hidden gem and hands down my favorite sushi spot in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area. It’s a small, family owned restaurant, and Maggie and her husband go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. They’re always so kind and attentive, which adds a personal touch you don’t often find.

The food here is incredible. Every dish is packed with flavor and always fresh. My absolute favorite is the shumai soup it’s my go to comfort food. Their torched rolls are consistently amazing, and when I’m looking for something on the lighter side, the diet roll is a great low-carb option.

Also worth mentioning: the fried rice is generous and perfect for sharing, and the crab salad is a must-try so refreshing and flavorful.
I come here for the quality of the food. If you’re in the area and love sushi, Sakura is a must-try.“

“Kotobuki in Babylon Village is one of the better sushi restaurants in the area. The complimentary appetizer noodles are delicious. The food, including the expertly prepared sushi, is all excellent. However, the small restaurant fills up quickly, so it's best to arrive early. While parking in the village can be challenging, there is a paid lot in the rear of the restaurant. I highly recommend visiting Kotobuki for an exceptional sushi dining experience.“

“This is a very nicely designed Hibachi restaurant sectioned the Hibachi grills and seating away from main restaurant and there is also a sushi bar and a liquor bar adorende with 3 large television screens for a sports bar feel. The food is fresh , very tasty and arrives pretty quickly. The one draw back that you may not like and isnt a real bad thing is the various staff members that attend to your order for drinks, then the food comes out by another person. The are visits than seem eager to grab your plate to clear the table giving you a sense that there is a rush for the table. We will be back since the food , atmosphere and prices are very good. The portions are on the smaller side but still worth it and you leave full and content.“

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“Very delicious Teriyaki. We used to go to a place in Massapequa but moved out here and was very reluctant to try something new. We couldn’t be happier. There are at least three places in the food court that have chicken teriyaki but this one has them beat hands down. The line is always long because clearly they’re the beat but no worries it moves very quickly and the food isn’t a long wait either. I get double chicken teriyaki with noodles vegetables extra sauce and hot sauce. Yum!“

“Izumi's Hibachi is so goooood! The Filet Mignon is filled with so much flavor and they cook it well! They made sure our reservation was kept and they sat all of us in a nice section. Our cook was fun and interactive. Their Blood Orange margaritas are so yummy and indubitably-charged!!! I liked my experience a lot. Every hibachi place has their own niche, and for me, this one was their atmosphere, the teriyaki sauce, and the undoubtedly-fresh sushi! ?It doesn't beat my ultimate favorite Hibachi place but it was nice to try something different!“

“My husband and I go to Wild Ginger every Friday for lunch . I get the chicken pad thai with extra peanuts and peanut sauce on the side. My husband usually gets the sushi. We enjoy the Thai iced tea and the friendly service. We walk in and everyone welcomes us and knows exactly what we want. Great staff and service. Highly recommend you go!“
