“My wife and I came across smokey's by accident, we were out for a Sunday drive, ( we live in Newstead) when hunger pains hit me. We drove around looking for any open place, came across smokey's, looked at each other and said 'why not'. Wife had Shepherds pie, I had the roast beef. Both we excellent and reasonable priced. I've read some reviews and don't care, you can't please everyone all the time. We were quite pleased and definitely WILL return, just not sure when, long drive for us. Thankyou Smokey's”

“I ordered a flight of 6, lightest [IPA] to darkest [Stout/ Porter], and all of them were great.
I especially loved the "Shoot Me Now" Porter. It tastes like a Reese's peanut butter cup. Yea, it's that good!
The knotty pine interior reminds me of another microbrewery in Warsaw, NY.

PS: don't listen to the brewery dog. He told me I could give him some of my chips only to have the brew master tell me not too. Despite his cuteness and sad puppydog eyes, the dog cannot be trusted.”

“Was there Friday before my grandson's musical. The service was fast and friendly, the food came out quickly and the fish fry was excellent!”

“The food my grandsons got looked wonderful. The worker was so kind and the food came out very quickly. The atmosphere is very nice and warm & it also is very cozy. Highly recommend steamed dumplings and wonton soup.

“This was my first time here and No wonder why the place is packed could not even find a place to park so I can pick up a to go order. Food tastes like you just got done cooking it at home so good and fulfilling. I got spaghetti and meatballs and let me tell you the meatballs where the star of the show I also go a fish fry and it was so delicious”

“Small and quaint with unexpected amazing food. Our party of four with three of us ordering the sirloin steak, it was so tender, a butter knife could have cut it. You get two sides and the vegetable that night was green beans. They were baby size and delicious. You can trade the two sides for one side salad, which is almost a meal all itself! Wonderful waitress - very friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for the area.

The table next to us ordered burgers and they were huge and looked great too. We will be coming back again!!”

“Surprisingly high tech with kiosks to order on. For me, being able to click through customization options myself took a lot of stress out of deciding what to order with dietary and budget concerns. Only problem was it made the flow of the line a little confusing, but after ordering I got my food very promptly.”

Let me tell you what...that chicken fajita was the best chicken fajita i have ever had in my entire life! I never leave reviews, but i just couldn't go another minute keeping something so amazing to just myself. Two thumbs up for you John & Mary ...you get it. The sour cream on the side in a cup, not just a dollop a daisy but an actual good size cup! YES, thank you. They get it! That's all i can say is they get it. I am now from this day forward a permanent, loyal, John & Mary's customer. Good job!!!”
