The store is very clean and they serve quality ice cream and beautifully decorated cakes (they can make pretty much make any design/style you want). Another plus- convenient hours and location. “I first visited the Blue Pig over the summer. I live in Orange County and my family and I wanted to try the ice cream here! I have to say, not only am I super impressed with the amazing products and flavors you have, but EXTREMELY impressed with the sustainabilities that’s been implemented at your business. This is the very thing I’m passionate about and have been trying to suggest with local businesses near me, especially some of the cream places; let’s eliminate single-use plastic utensils that end up in the trash and either get actual compostable utensils (and compost the utensils) or encourage reusing by offering metal ones you can return and wash after eating, just like at Blue Pig. In addition to the water refill! This effort means the world me and very happy to see Blue Pig adopt this. I’m happy to support small businesses who are sustainable. “Such a nice local ice cream shop! Loved the variety on the menu and they even had a frozen dog treats. Flavors and quality of the ice cream are great. Today I had a coconut Kit Kat that was excellent but they also had some vegan/nondairy options that looked tasty. The outdoor area is nice to sit at and dog-friendly. Also appreciate that this is woman and LGBTQ+ owned.“

“I visited this place about 6 times in three weeks. They have a variety of flavors and the staff always was welcoming. I would recommend the mango, raspberry and berry mix. The lines dont stay packed for too long. The staff is speedy yet efficient with cashing orders.“

“You may be thinking that all Carvel locations are alike, but they're not. I have visited many Carvel locations in many states, and this one (fortunately my "home" Carvel store) is the best. The soft ice cream is consistently dense and smooth, never runny, and they have a large selections of hard ice creams and sherbets, all of which are delicious. Portion sizes are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never disappointed with anything from this place.“
