“I had lunch here today and it was really good! I got the grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains and two chicken and cheese empanadas.The grilled chicken and rice were good. The sweet plaintains were’t really very sweet how I like them but they were pretty good. The chicken empanadas were good and cheesy but I wish they had beef and cheese instead.Overall this is a pretty good lunch spot, and considering the area not too unreasonably priced. I would definitely go back here again.
Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to park in the street.
Kid-friendliness: You could definitely bring kids and your family there with no issues.“

“I've visited Lisbon Café twice and had two different experiences.
The first time I went to Lisbon Café for dinner, my family and I had a great time. It wasn't packed and the staff was helpful. We ordered a pitcher of white wine sangria and when we mentioned that it wasn't strong enough, they added more white wine to the mix at no extra cost. We ordered the hot antipasto, paella, branzino, and Portuguese pork sausage. All of the seafood were fresh and delicious. The sausage was alright; although it looked cool to be torched, it was actually overcooked and didn't taste that good.
My first experience was so great that I decided to bring my family back again for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, because it is Mother's Day, the restaurant was insanely busy and the staff could not keep up with all the tables. We were seated right away with our reservations but we were probably there for 3 hours. The food took forever to come out and it wasn't the same quality as the first time either. The paella looked undercooked and the rice was soaked in oil. The fried calamari was not crispy; the batter was soggy. The octopus was actually tender but I felt like it could've been more charred. The Hot Antipasto flavors were pretty much consistent as the last time.
I would still rate Lisbon Café a 4/5. I understood that because it was a holiday, the restaurant was going to be busy, but I wished they were able to manage everything better.“

“Omg. This was my first time here. The food was deliciosos!!!! I had the rice bowl and it’s better than chipotle. Shout out to Jason for being such great help. I had so many questions and he was very patient with me. Def will come back again!!!“

“I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star! If you’re on Long Island, it’s a must to try!“

“Great service but the highlight of this place is the food! Large portions, affordable prices, flavorful and fresh! I've visited this establishment in the past for their margaritas (also recommend), so I was pleasantly surprised that the food was so good! Limited menu options but the chef will also accommodate if needed, highly recommend.“
