“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“Small and quaint family run Portuguese restaurant. It was a full house so reservations a must. I had the stuffed Lobster which was excellent. The appetizers were fantastic as well. Byob as they don't have a liquor license as of yet. Definitely worth checking out!!“

“I had lunch here today and it was really good! I got the grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains and two chicken and cheese empanadas.The grilled chicken and rice were good. The sweet plaintains were’t really very sweet how I like them but they were pretty good. The chicken empanadas were good and cheesy but I wish they had beef and cheese instead.Overall this is a pretty good lunch spot, and considering the area not too unreasonably priced. I would definitely go back here again.Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to park in the street.Kid-friendliness: You could definitely bring kids and your family there with no issues.“

Our meal started with delicious beef pastries as an appetizer. For the main course, my friend enjoyed the pasta a la vodka, while I opted for the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables. We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine.The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. Mauricio’s timely and polite check-ins added to the overall positive impression.The food itself was exceptional, and we chose to forgo dessert. With Mauricio’s attentive service and the delectable dishes, I confidently give Madeira Sports Café a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. “The experience at the restaurant was excellent the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The service was outstanding . From refilling the chips and bread placed on the table without asking to being attentive to filling the water glasses . When additional wine was ordered it was served within two minutes . Every aspect of the dining experience was met and exceeded . This restaurant has a highly recommended. The food was 5 stars .“
