Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“Ordered sandwiches and antipasto tray for my daughter’s sweet 16 party and everyone said how fresh the meat was. The sandwiches were made perfect they did not fall apart and were cut perfect size. The antipasto tray was fresh as well. First time I went to deli as I’m new in town. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you to Arthur Avenue Deli!!“

“My new go-to! Incredibly friendly staff and always willing to go the extra to make you something that may not be on the menu . They have a variety of hot foods and a great breakfast sandwich! So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). They have everything that I need when I’m not in the mood to run to the supermarket. There’s a lot of healthy options here as well. Including cereals. You don’t see that in a convenience store too often. I also buy a lot of the prepackaged fruit because it’s fresher than anywhere that I found locally and incredibly priced under $5!!!“

This is seriously good cuisine.” Since day 1, consistently the best quality take-out in the area. Menu is much broader than suggested by the name. No reason to go anywhere else for a sandwich (any type), taco, entrée, or any other food to get on the run. Every item is homemade including the desserts and frozen treats. I order the same dish every time because it’s consistently the best-tasting food I’ve had with excellent portion size for the price, in Westchester County and I'm from Rockland County. I’ll drive over the Tappan Zee just to eat here. The staff are incredibly kind, too. “Chris is da man and hooks up some bomb sandwiches. This is a main north Stamford stop along since I had some issues at LaRoccos on long ridge. The staff is polite but when some leaves the door open it can get to hot or cold so of course they need to say something we were not raised in a barn door. If I drop off my guys and I need a quick snacky snack i gotta stop here for some grub and chit chat. Love this place and support the local community business everyone“

“I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“
