This out of the way place is a gem in the rough! Sadly this group of 4 have had 3 previous outings where the food has been mediocre at best. Good restaurants are few in Rural areas even with lots of Tourists visiting. This place is not good it is great.We all had the special Valentine’s day meal.It consisted of soup, or salad, the entree, desert and wine, or champagne. Everything was delish- burger was just slightly overcooked. Beautiful interior, great service.We had both burgers, the Arugula Salad (my fave along with the hand-cut fries), Winter Salad, and Cheeseburger Soup.

Very good food and a warming and welcoming atmosphere. The service was also top-notch. Our waiter was excellent. We hope to be back to relax by the fire in the comfy chairs someday, perhaps for a drink and some appetizers. The owners did a great job setting up the restaurant. It had some awesome Adirondack art work and north woods themed decor. It didn't feel crowded and didn't feel empty either. My wife and I look forward to going back.
