“Due to Covid restrictions Jovi's hadn't been opened for awhile. Went on a Friday night. The restaurant was at 50% capacity and every table was full. They have changed their menu, which I found very interesting. I ordered the special of shrimp and lemon ricotta pasta with tomatoes and red peppers $23. I asked for it to be served without tomatoes. When the server brought my food which seemed to take awhile, she said "oh, I forgot no tomatoes." There weren't any red peppers but a boat load of tomatoes. I didn't want to wait for my food while the other guests were eating so as to why I didn't send it back. The 4 pieces of shrimp still had the tails on which I thought was odd in a pasta dish, but the pasta was very good. It seems that Jovi's is working out some issues after being closed due to the covid restrictions. I'll probably give them another chance, hope they're able to get their flow going again.“

“We stopped in on a Tuesday because we were shopping in the area and are so glad we did! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was nice (maybe the music could be lowered), and the food was amazing! I had the duck two ways and it was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. He had the enormous pork chop, also cooked perfectly and juicy. Great cocktails and apps as well. Highly recommend.“

“Looking for an easy peasy but delicious place for dinner? Head on over to Tito’s. Weather was nice and I didn’t feel like cooking dinner so we headed on over off the recommendation of a friend. This place did not disappoint! I got the Texas Tito and my boyfriend got the Nashville chicken. Both were full of flavor and juicy! We also split an order of cajun fries, don’t miss out on this either. The cook (I’m assuming the owner) was also very kind and polite. We will definitely be back!“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“We love Jimmy’s! It’s like enjoying a home cooked meal when we are in Buffalo. I had an omelette with feta that was delicious. The home fries were so flavorful, with onions and the right amount of crunch. My sister has her home fries with the Greek chili sauce! I should have followed her lead. The service is fast and friendly. The food is always fresh and tasty!“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

Really enjoyed the shoestring fries as well and trying a different appetizers that were ordered for the table. “Went there yesterday for the first time with an old friend. I had no idea what to expect other than what my friend had told me about the food. The decor was plain(who Cares) and the clientele consisted of mostly workers on lunch break. The waitress took our order and then brought us a cup of soup and a slice of garlic toast..very delicious. We both ordered the Pastrami sandwich which came with either a salad or French fries. The waitress brought out our sandwiches and to say I was surprised would be an understatement. The sandwich was huge with a hefty helping of fries. It was served with a cup of Russian dressing for dipping. I came away from here with a full stomach and a new go to restaurant for future lunches and dinner. Here comes the best part though… this was all for the ridiculous low price of $10.00 per meal. Amazing…..“

The owner and chef, Mark is out and about interacting with patrons and even plays the harmonica for you! He is very talented, he vame out to play happy birthday for someone across the restaurant and even came over to our work christmas party to play some christmas music. It is a gem of a place, if you are in kenmore and want dinner or just a glass of wine at a quiet bar or a warm friendly place, they are wonderful. I highly recommend them for dinner and small business dinner parties.“
