“What an amazing place. We came without a reservation at the suggestion of our innkeeper and had the most delicious meal. The staff was accommodating ( did I mention it was Hudson Valley restaurant week?) and warm. The appetizers, crispy brussel sprouts and mushroom crostini, were meals unto themselves. The pork chop was tender and flavorful with a jammy apricot covering. the pike was flaky and beautifully paired with crab salad and pickled mussels. And the dessert! Olive oil cake that beats Grandma's! Highly recommend!!Parking: Can be tricky if restaurant is full“

“The recently updated menu is so good! We have always loved the food and the vibe inside but this new menu is especially excellent. We love the steak options, their specials, pastas, shishito peppers, melted cheese board (never had it anywhere else), and the chorizo tapas. Also they just got their liquor license which is awesome! One of the best spots locally for sure.“

“What a great place to have an awesome experience. I’ve been in the food industry for too many years to count. With that being said… most places that I visit it’s easy to point out the flaws. Yeah I’m a foodie, so I can be a bit critical with the whole experience. I have to say from start to finish it was 100% flawless. From meet and greet, water on the table to empty desert plates it is always a home run. The ambiance of the outdoor dining space looking over the pond is breathtaking to say the least. This place is definitely the gem of Walker Valley, and definitely a go to restaurant for great food and great service!“

My boyfriend, an extremely picky eater, had the baked clams and NY strip steak and loved both! The waiter also went above and beyond to accommodate my shellfish allergy which was greatly appreciated :D…Five stars, will definitely return soon!“
