“Came there on my lunch break I wanted to stay but I couldn’t. But when I say the food was good. I didn’t have chow mein taste so good in a long time. The curry goat was flavorful tender with the right spice. Roti freshly hot and buttery. My drink I can order three more . I’m trying to come back over the weekend lol“

“BBQ Chipok Chicken is much more delicious than I've ever had in New York. It's much more delicious than any other chicken. Without a doubt, it can be said to be the best. Especially, the Korean-style seasoned chicken and the fried chicken, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, are really delicious. The pork ribs are well-seasoned and have a strong smoky flavor, making it a taste that keeps you craving. I ordered twice from BBQ Chippok, and I was very satisfied both times. I would like to recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone. 🥰👍👍👍“

“I used to get chicken from the a flushing location, but this one is more convenient for me. I love that it’s not just chicken burgers. I can’t eat carbs anymore, but sometimes I’m craving fried chicken. I love their fried chicken wings and drumettes. It’s so flavorful. They definitely use a bit of curry powder for seasoning. I get the mild. Their spicy can get very spicy for me. Next time I will try the roast wings or whole chicken. It’s well seasoned, chicken is crunchy, and the value for the money I paid is great! This is not really a sit down place. You can but it’s fairly no frills. Best for takeout and delivery. It’s a mom and pop shop so happy to help out. Also, the chicken isn’t overly salted like Popeyes. Good for a fried chicken fix without raising my blood pressure :)“

“Incredibly delicious!! It’s super cute in there and the service was fast and friendly. We were given water as we waited for our takeout order and sat in the little seating area, super lovely. “I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“Top 3 k fried chicken I’ve had in my life! Excited to try Sweetie’s after trying Peeps a few weeks ago. The wings were fried to perfection. Didn’t have that double fried (wet coat?) crunch like the heyday of BonChon about 20 years ago but it was a pleasant crunch nonetheless. I would say the crunch is close to what you would imagine Kentucky Fried Chicken’s would taste like based on the picture but unlike that KFC there is no disappointment! Sweetie’s has a nice combination of crunch that also crumbles softly.
My kid got the tteokbokki and it was a very decent sized portion for the price. Good flavor, they didn’t skimp on the sauce, and the rice cakes were not over/under cooked!
Theo rice bowls and jap chae both looked good but will have to wait till next time to actually taste them“

“Chicken Insider is the best place for a real taste. As a Korean, I can say the real authentic one. The chicken was insanely crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside — exactly the texture we expect from real Korean fried chicken. The sauce had that perfect sweet-spicy kick that keeps you reaching for the next piece without even thinking.
The price is super affordable. Given that the place is located on Upper East Side, i believe the owner is super is nice and generous.

“This is my fist time having Raising Cane’s in NYC and wow, this was very delicious. The food tasted very fresh. There’s plenty of seating and I went around noon - prepare for long lines. The service is great and they’re constantly tidying up. I highly recommend for a quick pit stop. Don’t buy KFC or Popeyes.“
