Made and ate a wonderful Indian dinner, complete with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a brief break mid event to whip up a pitcher of mango lhassi! The Bourbon Room is closed to the public during these events, so the whole thing feels very private and luxurious. Cesaera had all the ingredients and equipment ready, so everything we needed was right at hand. Came home with a binder of the recipes used, so we can share what we learned with others. “We tried The Gem tonight and we were not disappointed. Friendly service from start to finish. We chose wings as our appetizer and two draft beers! The wings were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. For our main course, we selected the smoked brisket with potato salad and baked beans as our sides. This was by far the best smoked brisket we have had. We ended the meal with the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream 😍. Head to The Gem for a great meal!“
