“Great hotel located in the middle of Lake Saranac village. Room well appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Bar and terrace is definitely worth spending time at - open mic night while I was there. Parking is free. There were also two Level 2 EV chargers on site.“
“Visited with my lady after doing some hiking earlier in the day. I was weighing area dinner options until I started reading the menu. I was immediately interested in the Thai Maple chicken wings. Followed by Fried Pickles with Sriracha ranch. Ok now we're 2/2. Brussels? Not usually a fan. But the menu description made it worth a shot. Finally, we saw the Whipped Feta app and decided this was the place. We don't need to look at entrees, it's apps for dinner tonight. Well, we should probably get a salad to make it a healthy mealThe wings come in orders of 6 or 12. They were big and juicy. The Thai Maple was well balanced, not too sweet. The Pickles were tasty. Get in there with your hands, get some of that arugula and pickled onion together with the pickle and dip it all in the Sriracha ranch. The Brussels were flavorful and crispy, I would order them again. The whipped Feta app is served hot and the first bite, with honey and pistachio, was divine. Star of the show.I'm not usually a porter guy, but the maple cream porter was delicious and would have been worth a second glass if I was staying longer.By the time we made it through the apps, the salad was an afterthought and we took most of it to go.Atmosphere was quiet and dim, with some overhead music that wasn't over the top loud. Exactly what we were looking for. I think calling it elevated bar food sells it short, but if you're looking for menu items with character and a chill vibe, this is a great spot. 4 apps, Chix Caesar Salad, and 3 beers cost around $90. You can certainly get out of there for cheaper, but we wanted to try a variety of things“
“Visiting the area we (4 of us) decided to have dinner at Casa del Sol. While looking over the menu, a small bowl of chips and two types of salsa (red and green) were brought out. While looking at the menu it started first bowl of chips and salsa was free and after that chips were $2 a bowl and salsa $2 a bowl. Okay - I appreciate the heads up, although I felt that was a bit stingy considering the size of the bowl you got. Anyway, we ordered our meals - fried chimichangs (delicious and plentiful), 3 hard shell tacos (while tasty - they did not come with any toppings like sour cream, gauc), enchiladas (delicious but a bit small portion), and a burrito (delicious and plentiful). We also ordered another bowl of chips for while we were waiting for our dinners. Our waitress brought our dinners and said "Oh man! I forgot your chips" and then hurried away to get them. At this point, we really didn't need them anymore as we had our meals. Okay, we took them any way - no big deal. Overall the food was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and the prices were reasonable.“
“Bring a sweatshirt and go now! The food here is incredible with drinks to match. You especially have to try the Korean pork belly nachos, but be warned they are a full meal in themselves. We've been several times and always walk away full and happy.“
“Incredible food, Incredible staff. I've never had a bad meal here. I always recommend this place to anybody looking to try fun and tasty food. Margot, the bartender, is always so amazing and creates such wonderful cocktails.Vegetarian options: Menu always has one vegan and one vegetarian dish, that isn't just a salad. Incredible range of cuisine.Dietary restrictions: More than compliant with dietary restrictions, and help pick great options and alternatives.Wheelchair accessibility: Indoor dining is accessible, dining on the patio however, isn't.“
