“Shands is the coziest & most beautiful spot! The ambiance and service was so warm & welcoming upon entering. We had a seat up in front for some prime people watching on the Patchogue strip - it's such a nice change from the Brick House to have those front window tables! Extra points when the windows are open on nice days.

The craftsmanship in each cocktail, appetizer, entree, and dessert are obvious at first glance and later at first bite/sip. I also appreciate the quality offerings of the mocktail menu so those of us that don't drink can still enjoy a social tonic 🫶🏽

“Been to the Lakehouse several times and this was our best experience. Let's get the negative out of the way first. God forbid you want to sit outside. They don't take reservations for outside (understood). Every time we arrive - we are told it will be 3 days (exaggeration) before a table will be available. We are seated inside. Two tables almost immediately leave plus one table is empty and obviously reserved. As a hostess, you should know who is done with dessert / ready to pay their bill. The way they handle outside seating is frustrating. All that said, our food was fabulous. The pork chop, salmon and cod - all excellent. Our server Alex, was friendly and attentive. He helped make the night as servers can do. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!“

The place is in a strip mall, which is a little weird but it's nice enough inside with enough room between tables for privacy if you want it. My only complaint is they have many dessert options (like 9) and only one of them is chocolate! They need more than just a chocolate cake option. Not one of the other desserts has any chocolate in it! JMHO and we have been here several times and it's always amazing.“

“I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

“Visited NoCo for the first time Sunday. A great dining experience. We go out for dinner quite often and this is one of the BEST! Very professional staff. Annise the manager is definitely an asset to this restaurant. We had the watermelon salad and the fig salad. We had prime pork chops for dinner. Gelato and pecan pie for dessert. Everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Will definitely revisit and probably become a regular!!!!!“

“Husk and Vine has been our go-to date night spot for years, so when it came time to plan my mother’s 70th birthday celebration, we knew exactly who to call—Chef Fran.
We wanted a Polynesian-themed menu, and if anyone could bring that vision to life, it was the Husk and Vine team. Chef Fran and his culinary staff are known for their creativity and fusion, and they absolutely delivered.

They're in between locations right now so no liquor license, but they let us know ahead of time and we were more than happy to BYOB (and in my case a premixed Manhattan—they provided me with a coupe glass and ice to shake my cocktail). Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! “Recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday here. After researching many venues in the area we landed with the Grille. Jenn (the event coordinator) was extremely friendly, professional and informative from the moment I called her to inquire about the space. The venue is a dual space. You have the catering room as well as the bar area where there are pool tables and a dart board. Perfect for our guests in their 20s. The food and staff were amazing. I cannot rave enough about Amy, Jenn, Steve, Ernesto and Sabrina. They were all so helpful and accommodating during our event. Jenn was extremely attentive and made sure we had all our desires fulfilled, up until the morning of the party. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Book them! You won’t regret it!“

“I ordered online to pick up and my service dropped so I called back. The same gentleman answered and was very nice and patient, took my order and I forgot to ask for salt, pepper and ketchup on my egg sandwich and he kindly asked if I wanted to add it so kudos for the attention to detail. I arrived and parking is sufficient and it’s right off the main road so it’s easy to access. The Chinese lady greeted me at the counter and was genuinely nice and warm toned and asked if I was there for pick up. My breakfast was ready and she rung me up for $6 and offered me a free coffee which I declined. They sue take debit with a $5 minimum and they use a modern payment device so no pin is needed if you don’t mind that and paying is instant so no waiting on that end either, I was in and out in less then 3 min. The place had a decent amount of seating and was very clean and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. This place is a winner and sets the bar high for the other establishments in the area. I ordered an everything bagel with 2 fried eggs, sausage and pepper jack cheese (my only critique would be that they did put a very thin slice of cheese I would have liked to taste more of it) and it was delicious. “Sui's is a solid choice for standard chinese- american food. As a spare ribs, broccoli and fried rice guy, I can say that Sui's does the 'regular' dishes aa well as pretty much anyone else - glad that they are my neighborhood chinese place.“

“I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“
