“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

“I was with some friends for a bit of a reunion. I honestly did not know what to expect from Haven but all I can say is that it is a wonderful, friendly and cozy place. The lite bites were all tasty, but the tap list, the whisky...and whiskey list were outstanding, but the cocktails...oh my! Everyone in our party thought the cocktails were truly outstanding, different, and creative. And priced fairly. I have paid more at several places for cocktails that were nowhere as good as at Haven. The owners are delightful and made us feel at home and next time I find myself in Port Chester, forget anywhere else...I know where I am going. Thanks Haven!“

The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“Visiting Greenwich with my lady and she took me to me of her local joints that she grew up going to and I loved it! It’s the type of hometown place that we all love, but seem to be disappearing. Shuffle board, beers, some bomb pizza & great conversations. I’d be a regular if I lived in town.

And can we talk about Connecticut’s pizza game, again! I’ve been constantly happy every time I order a pie.“

“My visit to Arepa Mania Bar & Grill in NY was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing the Reina Pepiada arepa was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and delicious, and the natural passion fruit juice was incredibly refreshing.

The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The indoor garden-style decor is really nice, giving the space a cozy and vibrant feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal even more.

A special shoutout to our server Valentina, whose service was truly outstanding friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

I had a little issue with my table( too out in the open for me) within 15 minutes she moved us and then we spent $450, I should have just stayed at the original table we wouldn't have spent that much lol.
