“Billy & Pete's is a great place to gather with friends for an enjoyable meal and drinks. In addition, their support of an alternate-Wednesday open mic nurtures a warm community of musically-inclined folks, providing a friendly, supportive venue to share musical stylings, listen, collaborate and cheer each other on.“
“My fiance and I had our engagement party here. The owner, Al, and his wife are very nice people. The staff that worked the day of the party were also very nice, attentive, and helpful. The place was very clean and organized. They allowed us to set up the night before which saved us a lot of time. The space itself is very good to work with, we had about 90 guests.“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Big group of us (over 20) called in for breakfast before a match in Gaelic Park. Service, cleanliness and staff hospitality were second to none, before I even mention the food. Breakfast was so good we called back after the match for dinner. Even though it was very busy the staff, accommodated us and the food was excellent, would highly recommend for both food quality and price. Special mention to Danielle who couldn't do enough to make our two visits to the Whlistin Donkey very worth while.“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“The owner shows love when he is not busy, not everyone in the restaurant can speak english but the menu is written in english. I traveled to the Dominican Republic & Colombia. I'm big on chofan de pollo (Spanish/Chinese fried rice with chicken) theirs version is pretty good.“

“Visiting Greenwich with my lady and she took me to me of her local joints that she grew up going to and I loved it! It’s the type of hometown place that we all love, but seem to be disappearing. Shuffle board, beers, some bomb pizza & great conversations. I’d be a regular if I lived in town.
And can we talk about Connecticut’s pizza game, again! I’ve been constantly happy every time I order a pie.“
“We met bartender Linda and owner Timmy and they were very friendly and accommodating to us. The bar pool table, the juke box and the spacious backyard deck made us fall in love. - Jesus Medina, certified skate instructor & Adonis Taylor (NYSS co-founders)“

“Shady spot. They will add a service charge/tip without telling you. My bill was $105 and when they ran my card it was $117.50 I could tell from the phone app from my bank. My friend was visibly drunk and they were still giving him drinks and running up the tab.
Fun spot but be careful!“

“We arrived early for dinner. Service was quick. The food was tasty, and portions were large. I had enough for lunch the next day.
Parking: We were early on a week day in February, so parking was simple. I am sure it can get difficult on weekends and during the summer.“

“Mostly because I got food. Great prices, 3 beers And a quick side costs half of anywhere you'd run into in Manhattan and was not bad at all. Music doesn't drown out the sports games. Great place to go if you want to watch sports and have a couple beers without breaking the bank.“

““More than just pub food” should be this places slogan. I like seeing the same staff and the food is fantastic - way better than what pub food should be. Never had an issue with food or drinks, more than I can say about most places in White Plains.
It’s also within walking distance of our house which gives it a very European “our pub” feel.
That said, they do charge 3.5% for using a card which is annoying as it feels they’re double dipping. 3.5% interchange has always been there, only in recent years are they passing it to customers.
Our trips here have dwindled a bit because of this.“

“great local spot for happy hour and pub fare. they have a good selection of draught & bottled beers, as well as decent cocktails, if beer ain't your thing. we were there for radio bingo on a Thursday, but they also host trivia Tuesdays and other weekly events. hard to beat that in white plains!“
“Some of the other reviews on this page make me smile. Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“Every time we’ve ordered from here the food is fresh, delicious and you can tell how much work they put into making such quality food. Every single time we’ve ordered they have yet to disappoint. Our favorite is the Birria Torta. You can tell that a different person makes it each time but oh my god it’s amazing. And their aguas frascas are to die for. We’ve tried a different variety of foods from across the Bronx but they are 100% top tier.“
“Very nice place, our waitress was super friendly with cute Irish accent. The menu does not have many Irish items but we could find two (Shepherd's pie and Irish breakfast) that tasted very good. We were there on Sunday late afternoon and we enjoyed lovely Irish live music. Very nice experience, would definitely come back if in area!“

“The place has great food made by under paid workers. The owner tries to promote workers within but not give them a raise. This is the reason why this place is always hiring because the workers don't stay long. Some workers stick around until they find a better job. Again the food is really good but made by under paid cooks and everybody in the kitchen is under paid as well. But these people have no other choice because it's hard find them to find another job.

“I went to SCRV today for the first time after like a year of wanting to go. This is a fire place in the neighborhood that I probably won't go back to because of the people that goes. Dudes be standing on the wall instead of dancing...that's to say, the ratio is pretty good.. A downside (like the first sentence wasn't one) is it closes at 1 AM at least on Fridays. Furthermore...some of the the women are scheming, trying to sell you on the next spot (spoiler: $100 bottles that really cost 30-40 max which would be fine but... They also charge cover-they don't tell you that part.) Additionally, they'll surely call you broke if you opt out of being swindled.
TLDR: Go to SGRV but not wherever else anyone tell you to go. My honest opinion.“

“This place is an amazing “Staycation”. Anna Maria runs an amazing experience. The vibe is awesome, everyone is super friendly. There’s a happiness energy that is contagious. Great wine and food selections. Santos is an extremely attentive waiter with great recommendations. It’s like Rye’s version of Cheers. The live band brings everyone together. Bravo Anna Maria.“
“Great neighborhood bar. We were looking for a place for a few drinks and to watch some baseball. Friendly bartender who poured a great drink for my wife and a nice selection of beers for me.
Was able to bring food in from right across the street.
Thankful for the friendly atmosphere. All the locals made us feel right at home.“
“We decided to return to this lounge for the second time because we enjoyed the first visit. This visit different but mostly fun nonetheless. We sat for maybe 5-10 minutes because the bartender finished her conversation to attend to us.During those 5-10 minutes we enjoyed the Karaoke that was two rum punches which was a whopping $30.That threw me off a bit because on our first visit we order 6 drinks total for $50.Anyway, the rum punches were good, one was STRONG, the other was sweet but you could still taste the liquor. We were then greeted by a second bartender who was more pleasant than the first and more welcoming. She asked questions and checked on us to make sure we were okay. The dj was good but you can tell he’s old school which is fine because the car attracts crowds off all ages. The regulars there participating in the karaoke had great voices, especially the men.I asked about a food menu but was told that the kitchen was closed, this was about 11:30pm Friday night. They recommended a food truck that was parked next to the building that was affiliated with the lounge. The bathroom was very clean and well kept.
Parking: It’s best to take a cab or public transportation“

“Food is good. Service is good. Music is a bit too loud. We had an early dinner here and obnoxious drunk patrons were already present (before 7). As a new place, I'm sure they can't turn away any customers, but my wife and I both decided we're going to check for obnoxious folks before actually going in next time.“

“Friendly neighborhood bar in Larchmont, NY with good bartenders and a good jukebox and friendly patrons. Recommend. I like to play my favorite Jambands and classic rock/reggae on the jukebox such as Grateful Dead, Dylan, Widespread Panic, Moe., CCR, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Kansas, Tesla etc.“
