“This place is great tasting and cheaper than other equivalent Korean fried chicken places. They are not the traditional old style and also not the super trendy type, but for a takeout for a quick bite with beer, it is perfect. Also helps that it is one of the only places in the neighborhood for Korean fried chicken. The only downside is that it is in the supermarket and therefore quite small, a bit slow, and can't serve draft beer.“

Despite this, I still got my order tasting fresh and arriving quick (<5 mins) and could see workers diligently cleaning in the kitchen and a younger man wiping down all the tables, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. I had went inside the bathroom after he was done and it was spotless, something I would never expect to see from a fast food place. “I’ve ordered take out from here several times over the past 8 or so months. It has pretty good ratings on Uber eats and they always have very good deals at excellent prices, so I figure why not. The food has always been very fresh and hot. I’ve had their fried chicken pieces before which I enjoy, large pieces of fresh hot juicy chicken and crunchy fresh fries. I’ve had their fiery wings with fries which I always enjoy- extremely well seasoned and spicy but not too spicy.

This visit I ordered pick-up for two ordered of the Nashville tenders. This I wasn’t a fan of (I’m basing my overall review on my cumulative experience with their orders). The tenders didn’t have much flavor at all with the small amount of seasoning added, the dipping sauce was tasty and saved the dish. The fries were mildly soggy as well as the chicken tenders, probably due to the way they sealed the bag (sealed too tight not allowing air to escape, so it steams the food). I wouldn’t order this dish again but I’d ordered the chicken pieces or fiery wings for sure. I’ve had the biscuits before too and they were very good! Coslaw also came with the dish I ordered today but I was too full to even try it.

I heard a lot of local people buy it, so it seems like a local restaurant.“

“Went here for some late night chicken after a night out in Manhattan. $8 for 4 breast which is not a bad deal in this economy. I was a little hungry and tipsy so I forgot to take a picture but it was surprisingly good. I like chicken places like this better than places such as Popeyes or KFC- too greasy for me. Cheap and hot! Haven’t had any of their other food so can’t say much about that but the chicken was 4.5/5 stars.

“They're a fairly new business at this location (a few months) and the woman I've interacted with has been friendly, professional, and accommodating each time I've been there so far -- I hope she remains that way because people do notice and consider it when they decide whether to patronize places, which is why I've returned multiple times. The food is pretty much the same as I've had at other locations. I only took off one star because: 1) I usually just get chicken but will try new menu items now and then and the fried shrimp had way too much (actually was mainly) batter; and 2) I didn't observe anything really bad happen with the food, but they should just be mindful about placing exposed food too close to where customers (or they themselves) can stand or have conversations, or letting it sit out exposed for too long (for quality rather than health reasons; again, no one reading this should be too alarmed -- I did NOT see anything significantly bad happen with the food, and the type of food I'm talking about has a somewhat low health risk).“

“Something needs to be done with the orientation of the drive through. Maybe entry and exit directions reversed, that way the car queue can be from the less busy side of the area.I understand it's new york with less land mass, but a good operational process analysis and improvement can help. It's what I do for a living so maybe that's why it struck a cord with me. The staff and food were good, just the queue getting into the intersection and traffic light is more of a safety incident waiting to happen.“
