“One of the only hot foods place with so many options open super early everyday! This is my go to place for a good meal anytime of the day. Tasty. Clean and always stocked. Service is exceptional and the place is big bright and airy! Very close to the train so easy to get to. So affordable!

“We were supposed to eat at another restaurant, Anny, but when we got there, they informed us that they would only accept cash. Yet there was no ATM. We started walking on 116th, looking for an ATM. Instead, we found this place to eat. It's a buffet style place with only one booth style table. The best thing was that the food was good and the price was right.“

“My daughter and I found ourselves in this neck of the woods, and we luckily stumbled upon Tres Diamantes [Three Diamonds]! Our server, Darleny, was warm, welcoming and sweetly tolerated my attempts to speak in Spanish. Everyone else also appeared friendly and efficient as they catered to the other patrons; most of whom, if not all, were clearly regulars. The restaurant and bar area were airy and festive, the restrooms tidy and clean. Darleny brought us guacamole, which, interestingly and in true Salvadorian tradition, was made with hard-boiled eggs. The guac was perfectly balanced and delicious; if it was a larger serving, I could have made a meal out of it and a beer or two! We also ordered ceviche [fresh and tasty], beef stew [authentic as heck], and yummy pupusas. As others have stated, a 20% service charge was automatically added to our bill, and if paying with a credit card, an additional 3% “processing fee” will be levied.
We enjoyed our meals, the service, and the atmosphere. I look forward to returning and suggest you give them a try sometime.“

“The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding!!!! I attended my neighbor's 30th bday party at Mateus. Fantastic service and the broiled salmon and steak!! Mouth-watering good. Ua gotta get out to Mateus in Qieens Village!!!!
Parking: The area has parking, but you must find it, usually down the street or around the corner from the establishment.“

“Food always made fresh and tasteful. Dishes feel and taste, as if someone cared about what they're sending out. The staff respected me and treated me like family, every time I dropped by. I recommend the fish, the lamb and chicken over rice and whatever you order, make sure you add their famous falafel . You'll love how that present the falafel, on your dish ?
Vegetarian options: I tried the veggie burger. Seeing how I'm not a vegetarian and enjoyed it, that should tell you how good it was.“

“I really liked this baking and cooking business, they have a variety of foods and various pastry products, the cakes look beautiful, the service was very good, the young woman who assisted us was friendly as was the staff there, They have juices and sodas, carrot cakes, chocolate, tres leches, suspiros, mantecados with chocolate chips and various sprinkles. “The food is acceptable but what I liked the most was the sweet plantains that I bought for my whole family. I have given it many chances and I kept buying it but it doesn't improve. It tastes horrible. The bananas are sometimes semi-green, not sweet at all, without any flavor. and they make the pieces smaller and at $5 I wouldn't mind the price as long as it was delicious but it isn't like that I hope they fix it“

“Food is always consistently delicious. I’ve ordered their food but when I’m on the go, I order their mix pupusas. And let me tell you, these people don’t mess around. They make sure everything is fresh. The tomato sauce is nice and thick. The cabbage taste crispy fresh. The restaurant itself is nice inside with lots of seating availability. This is the type a spot I recommend you try.“
