“I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.
We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

“So lucky to have an amazing vegan place right here in Williston Park. The food is delicious. Haven’t had anything on the menu that wasn’t amazing. “Some of the most amazing vegan food I’ve ever tasted!!!! Wow…Do your body and your taste buds a favor and go support this restaurant. I had the quinoa with samplings of the vegan ginger, citrus, and the tofu chikn bites….every was a 10/10. The chikn bites were so tasty and full of flavor without the tofu taste. “We went for the second time, the first time was so much better!! This time it was not good. My wife had the fish tacos. Not only did they not look nice but the taste was bad. I had the crunchy mahi mahi. It looked like raw tuna. It was not good as well. The only thing we liked was the desserts. We will not go back any time soon.“

“My first time they send really good food. And the staff really tried to accommodate my dietary needs. If they manage to have options with cleaner oils and etc. It would make them especially unique. But this is nothing to ding them on as you would be hard-pressed to find another vegetarian place with those options. It is fantastic to have such a favorable vegetarian restaurant in this neighborhood. I'm not surprised that they've been around for more than a few years. Give them a try!“

“I stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen after visiting the temple and the place delivers exactly what people say about it. The food is simple, fresh and made with the kind of consistency you only get in a temple kitchen.
I tried two plates because I was there with a friend. The pongal was warm, comforting and properly seasoned. The curd vada had a light, balanced taste and felt refreshing. The mixture on the side added a nice crunch. The dosa was crisp, not oily, and the coconut chutney tasted clean. The sambar was mild but paired well with everything.
The canteen is not about presentation. It's about honest food that feels familiar and satisfying. Portions are fair and pricing is very reasonable for New York. If you're already visiting the temple, stopping here makes total sense. It’s quick, reliable and a good break before heading back out.“

“Everything is great. Coming here over 25 yes. One thing I noticed who's overall incharge he is no Tony. And never will be. Stained tablecloth oil bottle on table dirty and greasy. Dirty windows. Tony would never have put up with that. I also miss his cooking. It's the little things. But Tony would never put up with this. Everything had to be perfect.“

“I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

By the soda fridge and then I was done eating lunch and I had cooled off enough to get back to my work and finish for the day and then I went home with my full belly And complete satisfaction with my lunch and what I ate. I have been recommending this As the best BBQ place for miles and now It’s become a very popular destination among the friends and family who have taken my recommendations.
