The greens that came with this dish were not generic mesclun mix greens, which I appreciated. They perfectly complemented the dish, this is little but I appreciate the details. Our server was very kind, just enough bubbly and accommodating.“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Exactly what you expect when you picture a diner. No frills, cheap, and exceptionally average food. It gets the job done, with the kind of gritty atmosphere you’d expect from a place that’s been serving neighborhood regulars for years.

I had the cheeseburger, while the person next to me was chowing down on chicken parm and spaghetti. The cheeseburger tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. It reminded me of the kind I used to get at the bowling alley as a kid.

10/10 recommend. Will return.“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

We all had the tasting menu and there was NOT ONE MISS on any of the dishes. 9 courses, two desserts to share and a little extra amuse of delicious gazpacho to start. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “My food was delicious. I had the 60/40 and fries. The space is cozy and positive. It’s perfect for takeout, but there are a few seats and a counter available inside. Ordering is simple; just use the tablet on the wall. I can’t wait to try new things when I’m in town again! 🍔❤ It was a nice difference compared to what I usually find in Phoenix, AZ. The attendant was very polite and patient with me. I was extremely jet-lagged.“

“Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time or probably ever! I got the French onion, which was a special and it was huge and delicious and really filling. Despite being busy, the owner took their time explaining some of the sandwiches to me and warned me that they were taking a little longer than usual to get orders out, but the wait time felt totally reasonable and definitely worth it. I ate inside, which does have limited seating but that was fine since a lot of people seem to order to go. But it’s not far from Maria Hernandez Park so I’d take my sandwich there next time! Fish was solid but a little too heavy on the batter to fish ratio. Eggplant was simple but good. The silken tofu was really solid texturally - might’ve been the standout dish for our meal.“

“It was my first coming to this restaurant and I was flabbergasted as it looked exactly as I've seen in the pictures in the reviews.
I ordered a orange chick'n bowl under their main menu and everything that's there is exactly the same. I enjoyed it and it was a little bit sweet (depending on the sauce that comes with it 😅) But overall, I'll give this a 5 star! Thank you for assisting and giving me lots options to choose from.

“I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. Everything we ordered arrived fresh and full of flavor. The steam rising off the hot skillet was a perfect welcome to the meal, and the lemon slice on top was a nice touch.

The rice and naan were both excellent accompaniments to the main dishes. I especially enjoyed the vibrant green peas in the curry and the beautiful texture of the topped appetizers. It is a fantastic spot to grab a great meal on Grand Street.“

The food was simply incredible, bursting with flavors in every dish. The overall experience was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to sine at. Highlights was the Korean BBQ skewers, whipped ricotta, caviar bellini‘s, yuzu cheesecake- but really anything you choose here is great!“

I got the focaccia sandwich which was amazing and the perfect size. I also got an iced chai with soy milk. There’s nowhere to eat inside and just one cafe table outside so definitely best to take to go. But it’s so close to Maria Hernandez Park so great for a picnics!
