“I love Ras, I’ve been here so many times! One thing that frustrates me however is the portion size, especially for their brunch. This is not a fine dining experience, it’s a creative approach to Ethiopian food - so why is the portion so tiny?? You have to order to main entrees to leave satisfied. It’s really inappropriate to be this stingy considering the price point. This meal is off the Ras brunch menu, it was so tasty but it’s something you eat in 5 bites for $21. So disappointing if you want to save your appetite for their brunch.“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “Everything is seasoned to perfection here! Easily one of the best burgers (vegan or non) that I’ve had in awhile. Honestly, the only reason I remembered I wasn’t eating real meat was that I didn’t get my usual stomach ache or feel the heaviness of a greasy beef burger. Also the nugs are perfectly seasoned! I’ll be back this week for round 2!“

“We had a nice time, and the food was good. We were however told to leave as there was another reservation waiting (we were hence offered a drink at the bar which never came), and the doorman got angry at us for opening the door in the wrong way.
So would have been perfect if not for those two departure hick ups sadly.“

“I make a habit to go to Seitan’s Helper every time I’m in New York for work. I get 4 sandwiches , to also have with me for traveling back on the train.
As a vegetarian , getting a good sandwich is hard … but these 2 take sandwiches to a new level and make them above and beyond.

On top of the amazing food , the 2 owners are lovely people, and are always jamming out to some 2000s pop-punk

I’m so fond of the texture of both of these products!

I always order sesame flavoured versions of desserts, I really enjoy them. I used to live by a Japanese Supermarket and a Korean Supermarket with stalls inside for bakeries. The flavour was a nice toasted nuttiness. I really loved the texture, reminding me of between a soft sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie!
AGAIN this cookie blew me away texture wise! The flavour works well for a cookie, I can’t wait to have another.“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“This was our second time going there. Our daughter goes to Pratt and it's walking distance from the school. It's a small diner but friendly staff. On one of the coldest days of winter the host made sure people were not waiting long for tables as best as she could. The food was good and service was really good. I'm glad my daughter has a place like this close to her dorm.“

“Always a fantastic experience at both locations and last night was no different! Staff is always attentive, friendly, and efficient while still creating a cool and relaxing atmosphere. Food is always insane and there’s basically no bad dishes on the menu, although the Moroccan Fish Tagine, and Greek salad with chicken are my favorites. “This Thai restaurant in Brooklyn is absolutely amazing. Every dish tasted authentic and full of flavor. I really loved the decoration and overall atmosphere, and the outdoor garden at the entrance is perfect for photos.

I highly recommend the Mook Kung Curry — it’s so flavorful and goes perfectly with rice. The Thai Style Pork Over Rice was also one of my favorites. The pork belly was fried crispy and delicious. Their cocktails were great too, and very beautiful.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back again!“

The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “Food was amazing for my cousins birthday. I only wish that the steak portions were a bit larger for the cost.
Hangersteak did take an hour half to be plated. Seated at 530 steak came at 715.
Salmon was a little under for my liking and was taking off the bill with no issues. Friendly waitress same girl that did my anniversary dinner there.

Macaroni salad was probably the best I've ever had and the lemon blueberry cake was delicious. I so appreciate vegan options, let alone ones full of flavor!! “I ride hard for this restaurant because not only is the food delicious and well priced, but it is one of increasingly few restaurants in the area (or even the city...) where you can sit down at 10:30 or 11:00pm and have a full meal without being rushed. This has become a vestige of old New York because people have started eating so early since covid. Drives me crazy. Thank god for Tabare. It's also super cozy and dark, great for small groups or a date.“

“I stopped by Garden Carver after walking from Manhattan to Brooklyn via the Williamsburg Bridge. The restaurant had a quirky charm with its literal middle-of-garden look. The inside was welcoming and felt like a real hole-in-the-wall spot to find something unique.

I ordered the Grilled Chick’n Caesar Wrap and mango & calamansi kombucha (that kombucha blend gives off real Brooklyn vibes lol).

The wrap was pretty good! It had a good balance of what I believe was fried tempeh, lettuce, and dressing. The portions were right, with no purposeless filler. That said, it just didn’t hit the same as a regular Caesar wrap, although I am a fan of vegan dishes. The kombucha was pretty good, but was kind of overpriced for what it was.

Overall, I had a nice time. The staff were really nice, the atmosphere and decor was great, but the food was just slightly lackluster. Still, it was goo enough that I’d be willing to give it another try.“

“The spinach mascarpone pasta was 10/10 the flavor was incredible! I would actually skip the ricotta toast- I wasn’t impressed. The rest was good, the squash pasta was another standout.
We were a tad rushed for a table of four, the rest of the pastas were OK (Ragu was a tad salty), good wine selection and cocktails were delicious all in all, 3.5-4/5!“
