“Desperate for real espresso drinks in the middle of a looong drive, we took a short detour and enjoyed the friendly service, delicious house baked banana bread, and charming atmosphere of the converted train depot. Worth the visit!”

“Soup AND Salad WITH Bread, in addition to your meal ... in one word, YUM! Upon entry, we felt like we were stepping into a different dimension and simpler times. Candlelit tables and dim sconces on the walls provided a warm, inviting vibe. Surprisingly, the server who greeted us knew us by name and warmly welcomed us to the National Hotel. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The meal was coursed out perfectly and we enjoyed every bite. Stuffed mushrooms to start were piping hot and flavorful in a ramekin of butter. The hottest thing in Cuylerville was the freshly baked bread-in-a-bag! Perfect to get every morsel of mushroom soup out of our bowls. Usually you have to choose between soup OR salad, not here! We got a fresh greens garden salad following the soup! Our main entrées of steak were perfectly cooked to temp and tasted great with the red wine. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, flavorful and satisfying. Peanut butter and chocolate pie brought our experience to a close. To wrap up the evening, we got to thank the chef and her husband for an amazing dining experience. This is one of a kind gem and we look forward to our next visit. Bring a loved one, go for a special date night or just stop in to treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.”

“We loved this little coffee shop! We stopped here on our way to see the solar eclipse. We ordered 6 different food items and drinks and everything was super yummy!! Highly recommend “2 egg Sammie” with bacon! ??The coffee was outstanding. The employees were very warm and friendly. 5 stars all around!”

“Hands down the best mozzarella sticks we’ve ever had. We both got clubs and they were fabulous as well, lots of meat. I’m not much for their homemade potato chips though but to each their own??‍♀️. Overall this place is CLEAN, the staff is fast and friendly, and the food is great.”

“This place is a local legend. I had the occasion to try it finally and I can see why. Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable wait time. I ordered a steak sub that was prepared just right - fixings were perfect, steak well-seasoned and juicy. Luckily they had an open table where I could hang out and enjoy my edible work of art! I thought the office was also on par and reasonable as well. I'll be back for sure.”

“We've loved J and Ts pizza even before they moved to retsof! They're food is delicious! Their Bleu cheese is THE BEST we've ever had! We sometimes order just a bunch of their Bleu cheese to go with a dinner were making at home! I also love that they're doing buffet lunches on Tuesdays and Fridays now. Been for both a Tuesday and a Friday buffet. Tuesdays they have chicken wings on the buffet and Fridays they have fish bites and shrimp!!! ? definitely going to be a regular afternoon lunch date place for my husband and I!”

“This restaurant has the best food I've ever had! The pasta is homemade and delicious! The shrimp alfredo is absolutely the best I've ever had! Everything is homemade from the pasta, bread and the salad dressing. The portions are generous and the prices are really good. Definitely a must try if you like fresh homemade pasta. The servers are quick, friendly and on top of the orders. Worth the money and drive!Vegetarian options: The chef will accommodate! If you're not vegan,try the Alfredo sauce! “On March 3rd 2023, I had an appointment at 6 to pick up cupcakes it was a snow storm, my phone died and I did not know where I was going, so I was late she was so understanding and so nice about me being almost an hour late. “Resturant sits outside of the golf course ara scenic coutryside. Food is always delicious and plentiful. Prices are below average. Service is excellent. I had ordered the half rib chicken entree which came with a salad and a side choice. My side choice was the mashed potatoes. Ribs were more than a half order. Tender delicious and fell off the bone. The barbecue sauce was sweet savory and couldn't taste better.(plenty of it) the grilled chicken breast was moist and favorable. The mashed potatoes was a nice size helping and actually it was nice to taste bits of potatoes. Salad was fresh and a nice size. We had plenty of leftovers. Loved how you had the choice of light beer on tap. Our server was friendly knowledgeable and efficient”

“Amazing gluten free options for a celiac!! The owner is super knowledge and friendly and knows what's safe. She explains anything you ask in a very detailed manor. I asked if stuff had oats and she said yes but she gets them shipped from Canada because those specific oats she uses is guaranteed to not be cross contaminated. She makes everything herself and wants to give an amazing option for us celiacs.”

“If you wanna take some folks out to a fancy place in Perry, the lumber yard, is it.The décor is kitsch and the food pretty standard fare for a steak-houe-ish sorta place. 3 out of the 4 people in my party had fish fry, which was a lot of food.The last person had chocolate peanut butter cake, and they said it was rich. They were also impressed that the coffee came in cute little glass footed cups.Lots of parking.”

“Jeanette is the best bartender. She is very knowledgeable about beers, makes recommendations, gives you samples to try. He has a pleasant, attractive personality. I ordered the 40,000 acres which is a very hoopy beer. It has body, hints of fruit, at least that's what I perceived. Lots of body, lots of vibrant notes. I liked the place. Ample street parking. They have a menu to order from other restaurants. But they have chips and cheese stick.I loved it, it's safe and friendly.”

“My nephew who goes to Geneseo took me here for a slice. The pizza was solid. Thin crust with decent sauce. The place looks like an old NYC pizza place with brick walls and high ceilings and darkly lit. The staff were college age kids. The only reason I give the service 3 stars is we ordered three pepperoni one cheese and they gave us three cheese one pepperoni. Wasn't a big deal but I really wanted to try both cheese and pepperoni. Next time I go I will get the pepperoni. Bathroom was clean and the atmosphere of the place was chill. Overall definitely recommend if you like thin crust David Portnoy style pizza.”

“Great little pizza shop with great flavorful pizza. Pepperoni has a little spice to it yet even my picky child who doesn't tolerate much spice loved it and ate it up. Both children enjoyed the big, thin slices. Would definitely get pizza from here again if ever back in the area.”
