“I have been eating an egg sandwich sandwiches on the North Shore of Long Island for over 20 years. This is by far one of the best Spots for egg sandwiches and half-and-half that I have come across in a long time the staff is amazing They’re always very polite and for the North Shore of Rhode Island. It is pretty fairly priced. All of their food has been good. I’ve yet to have a bad experience in the past five months and I haven’t been going there.“

“The place is nice! The parking is street parking though. The food is delicious! I had chicken sorrento which was amazingly good. Great servers too! “Hicks Deli is a top tier deli and never disappointed me since this place opened ive been advocating all family and friends to try it out. My usual order is the #4 with a hash brown on top with salt pepper and hot sauce. Coffee is always hot and the line moves quickly if busy. “My wife and I ordered here for our wedding across the street. Keith was extremely helpful and accommodating to make our heroes and include side salads at a fair price. We along with members of our bridal party all found the side salads (macaroni and potato some of the best we've had). Recommend to anyone in the area!“

“Took the pup to a dog run in Eisenhower Park and stopped here for a sandwich. I missed them last time when I was coming back from jones beach by a few minutes since they close early at 4pm. Lady working suggested chicken cutlets since they just came out and they were crispy and delicious. Ordered a hero with chicken cutlets, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. $14.67 but Yum.“

“Around 1970 or so, there were two delis on Jericho Turnpike, Johnny’s and Werner’s. (honorable mention to Ardito’s, which is still there and apparently still owned by the Ardito’s). I noticed Werner’s was still there. Werner must be about 100 years old by now. When I checked it out I learned Werner’s isn’t really Werner’s anymore. I read a review that said the new owners would have made Werner proud. I have to agree. A little less emphasis on salads and catering, but great selection of specialty sandwiches, excellent fresh bread and rolls, and fair prices.“

Once the staple of many small western Long Island towns - there were a handful between Glen Head and Sea Cliff alone - few remain.There has been a deli in this location for decades, and while ownership has changed, the menu is just as diverse and flexible as those of 50 years ago.Their Reuben is delicious. The roast beef hero, excellent. Hot soups, good coffee, a nice variety of sides (i.e. coleslaw, potato, egg salads), rolls, and pastries. “The food is always fresh and hot. There omelets and home fries are delicious as they are full of flavor and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. There french fries are delicious I didn't need any ketchup. The quality of the food is great as well as the portions. I find the staff to be very friendly. “I thought the Audrey was great! It is a cute cocktail bar for drinks and lite bites. We had a 7:30 reservation for a high top, although you can just walk in and sit at the bar, and this was our first time there. If you are looking for the traditional restaurant menu this is not the place. It is what I would characterize as a good place to meet with friends or significant other at the end of the day for drinks and lite bites. The menu consisted of various appetizers, salads, charcuterie and pizza and I will say all the food and drinks were amazing! As you can imagine the atmosphere is a bit lively depending on the number of people and seems to get livlier around 10 pm. If this sounds fun to you its worth checking out.“

“I can't say enough about this kosher deli. The Corned Beef is absolutely mouth-watering and of course the hot dogs are second to none. One of the best corned beef sandwiches I've ever had also the matzo ball soup is delicious just like grandma's. I highly recommend this kosher deli for anyone who's in the Great Neck area. Also the owner Joe is a perfect gentleman and I have eaten there a few times already and if I'm in the area this is my go to spot to eat for lunch.“

“Been coming here for several years. The owners and the women that work the buffet counter are always welcoming and provide good service. Food is good and consistent in taste and how food is prepared. The prices are reasonable if you need a quick Dominican dish but on a budget....this is place to be!“

“I stopped by the Panini store in Mineola and had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh, the burger was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were on point.

What really stood out though was the customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel personal instead of rushed. You can tell they actually care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve.
