“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.“

“We tried Taco Express for the first time today. The food was delicious. The staff is very courteous and friendly. We informed them that this was our first time at the restaurant and they made us feel like at home. I highly recommend trying them out. You will keep going there again and again.“

“This place was great I tried it today and i had no complaints what so ever, I’ve read the reviews and honestly i think it’s the customers who last out on the resturant for not telling the resturant how they want it because the service here is amazing from the cooks down to the front desk workers, when i requested a specific order to be chosen to my liking they went through with it. “Perfect girls night out! The food was delicious and our waitress, Oreo, gave just the right recommendations. It has a great atmosphere to have dinner and stay after for drinks while listening to the deejay. The place turns from a quiet dinner to deejay vibes. They have a patio that we’ll definitely try out in the summer. Definitely coming back.“

“Easily one of the best Mexican spots in Westchester. We brought the kids and they couldn’t get enough of the tacos, pupusas, and tamales. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The food is super flavorful and authentic, and the whole place has a friendly, laid-back vibe. Great for families or anyone looking for a solid Mexican spot. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Great Food, exceptional service and margaritas to die for! Our group of four has been dying to find a good Mexican restaurant (we have tried many)and 5 De Mayo did not disappoint. From our server, to our "Guacamole Girl" to the owner Roberto who came to our table to check in and offer dessert and/or a shot (free of charge), we could not have found a better hidden gem. We will not have to try another Mexican Restaurant as long as 5 De Mayo is around!“

“When is the most beautiful places I eat at me and my aunt went there is Lily had a great lunch ain't got left over for today and had a nice drink she had a beer and like I said the portions were nice and fresh and good you cannot get a better meal for 30 bucks in your life like I said these big chain restaurants that is exactly how they cook and change one meal after another that is microwave and hand it to you they cook it for you fresh in your face while you wait beautiful view a shout out to Lourdes and and her daughters for running a comfortable beautiful place amen“

“Every time I'm in the area I make sure to stop by Mangoes. The staff is super friendly, atmosphere is spot on, and the food is delicious. Portions are huge. This time we got fresh guac made tableside, piña coladas, jambalaya, and a combination plate. Everything was was excellent and I'm looking forward to my next visit.“

“Anytime I've ordered take out from this place its been fresh and delicious and usually always ready by the time i get there. I must say I haven't been too crazy about eating in there cause there service really isn't the best. Waiter/Waitresses don't really have any personality and my waiter tried to charge me extra for rice and beans that was suppose to automatically come with the shrimp dish i usually get from there. Besides the dining in aspect, I will return for take out cause I do enjoy the food.“

“My two favorite things in the menu are the hand made quesadillas and the Birria ramen. I love the face that these are freshly made to order so steak is juicy and very very tasty best quesadillas and tacos in port Chester for sure. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND“

“They had a nice Happy Hour and the Bartender was nice and helpful. Small friendly bar. I was disappointed I had to download an app to preview the menu so I had to go in. The Happy Hour was reasonable and the empanadas and Tacos were delicious.
Parking: I think it's free street parking. May have to park on a side street.“

“The service and atmosphere is amazing me and my family go almost every Sunday and the food does not disappoint. I would totally recommend this to a friend or family member and I would say that the only thing that I would change is the cleanliness because the floor is quite dirty, but the kitchen looks clean and organized“

“Great place to get some Mexican food, staff were much nicer than what you'd find in Chipotle, and the dine-in area was quite well-kempt. My only criticism is the spicy chicken which makes water taste sweet for at least 24 hours, but still delicious.“

“The lady at the register was very nice, quick to take my order and it came out hot and with two different sauces. When you pay cash it cheaper than with card payment. Big steak tacos with lots of meat. The green sauce is hot and you get radishes and cucumbers pieces with your meal.“

“First time ordering. Great portion. Great presentation. Fresh. Everything was exactly how we ordered and will definitely order again. And OMG the flan and tres leches cake were a definite bonus. Can't rate the service or the atmosphere as this was a take out order. However if it's as good as the food... can't wait to try the margaritas.“

“I came here on taco tuesday. The tacos were fresh, had plenty of meat, and were 2.50 each. In addition they provided plenty of lime, onions, cucumber, and sauces on the side, for the tacos, which I liked because I didn't have to ask for more lime or green sauce. The service was also great.“

“Fantastic food cooked by wonderful people. My bf and I frequent this restaurant a bunch. Their food is so so good and my favorite meal is the steak fajitas, and their sides are all too good as well as the guacamole and chips. Jarritos and margaritas are also fantastic as always. We love that this is a family ran restaurant. They really make you feel like at home. The restaurant is very cute and has a warm feeling. You also get quite a view as it is beachfront!!“
