Gyro Uno Pizzeria is an iconic landmark in Astoria. Everyone local knows that for a good meal at a fair price, this is the place. The food is always delicious and has a taste of nostalgia. The gyro is a favorite, with beautifully toasted pita, homemade tzatziki, fresh tomatoes and onions sliced perfectly, and very tasty gyro meat. The pizza looked great too. The service is amazing, and the staff makes everyone feel welcome. The place is comfy with tons of seats. The portions are huge and the cost is low. The menu is huge, and customers can eat there or take it to go. Fries are crispy and awesome, and the lemon potatoes are absolutely to die for. This tiny, cute restaurant is an absolute gem. After a long day in the city, it is the perfect end to the journey. A must-visit in NYC.
