“Brought in my visiting friends from Dubai and this place did not disappoint us. I had the hell burger which so juicy and its spice is just perfect. Also fast and great service. A male employee who appeared to be the manager even lent my friends a private area and let them do their Isha(Islamic evening prayer). Definitely my new favorite burger joint.“

Visited for lunch. Got the number 8, which was $6 cash with tax. A drumstick and a thigh with two rolls. The chicken wasn’t piping hot, in fact it was unremarkable, but a good value. Clean interior with three booths. They also sell ice cream by the scoop.“

“The location is intended for takeout. Today, I had a large or of wings wiyh bone delivered by 10:30am for students. The students said it was so fresh they thought it was homemade. The delivery was seamless and all the trays were hot to the touch on arrival. Perfection, I will be using this location again.“

“Good chicken that doesn't quite get to great chicken. That doesn't mean don't eat here, just set your expectations appropriately. The name? That's great.

The grilled chicken was fine. It might have been slightly over-roasted, and wasn't exploding with Maillard flavor the way a great fire-roasted chicken is. It comes with two sauces, one a bbq sauce and the other buffalo sauce. Both had very heavy vinegar notes. The mac and cheese could have been cheesier.

Service was fast and pleasant.

“This small spot would be bustling with street traffic from the local Mount Vernon government staff at lunch to the barrage of kids getting out of school needing a snack if it were not for COVID. According to local long timers, this place has been around for a while. On recommendation I tried the grilled chicken and rice platter. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy and tender with fluffy seasoned rice underneath and a cool basic lettuce and tomato salad off to the side. All packed neatly in a styrofoam carry out box. The cucumber sauce is worth requesting extra on the side. You'll thank me later. The owner seems to always be there and is quite personable. There's also a little Jamaican booth right inside the store. They seem to stay having business. I hope both spots can withstand the effects of the city shutdown and lack of customers. I'd hate to see them close like many of their neighbors.“

“If not for my friends I would've never stopped here as a vegetarian. However I am so glad I did. The baba ghanoush is smoky and so flavorful, and together with spicy feta, rice and falafel makes an incredible vegetarian plate. The combinations are endless and it is one of the healthiest real takeout food for a great value. I am so happy I've discovered this place“

“I have been to many Chic’s and this is my first crispy nugget experience. Mia my cashier ensured crispness and she did not lie . This was the best Dang chic Fil A I’ve ever had. Thank you for a delicious experience. It was so good I ate my whole box of 30 on the car I shared with no one and ate every nugget. I love the original chic Fil A sauce and the other options are ok but the original is the best and it’s best for my sophisticated chic fil A pallet. “This Popeye's location is one of the best I've ever been to. Employees are very polite, portions are decent, service is quick, and the location is managed as a restaurant should be. The food is fresh, and hot. The location is also very clean. As soon as a sit in customer leaves an employee rushes out to sanitize that table. This speaks volumes, cleanliness is very important. Online ordering is prioritized and ready once you walk in, and in store orders are pushed out just as fast. This is my 4th visit to this store and I must say each experience is equal, and I have made this my main location. A must visit popeye's location.“
