I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“

The staff member was also very friendly and knowledgeable about Rita’s, and informed us about how they made the custard fresh every day. Rita’s is our go-to place for custard, and we’re glad we went!“

“I wanted cheesecake bites and had called over the phone to tell them to include it since uber eats didn’t have it as an option, however the man told me they ran out. After we got off the phone I guess he went to the back just to to double check and realized he had a little extra left and went out of his way to scoop out whatever was left in the back to give to me. He even went out of his way to write a note on the bag. Whoever this was, just know we appreciated it so much! I’m especially partial to the Lilly with Nuts. It a uniquely New York flavor that Teresa captures so well. Although I’m not from the neighborhood, it certainly worth the trip. During one visit, I was fortunately confronted by a warm tray of freshly baked miniature sfogliatella sitting in parchment paper. I can still relish the experience. Whether it’s ices or baked goods, one is never overwhelmed by the note of sweetness, it rather the distinct flavor of the treat that shines through. You can’t go wrong here.“
