“My recent visit with my 15-year-old granddaughter was not as pleasant as the last time I was there with my “drinking “girlfriends . I requested fancy Shirley temples in a champagne flute the way they looked at me like I was asking for way too much. We waited too long to order because he was too busy for us making me feel unimportant. The calamari was fantastic. The pizza was great, but the hearts of palm avocado salad was terrible uneditable I didn't dare complain. I will never return “

“Place is great and I love coming here all the time. I’ll spare you a bad star rating because sometimes weird things can happen. Today there was hardcore rap music playing. Unflitered, use of every profanity and racial slur under the sun. Can’t come here with kids or family if it keeps up. Wrong area, wrong crowd guys. Please get on it owners/management. “Have to say.. for a Hospital cafeteria they got it all. Lots of pastries.. salads and lattes.. open 24hrs. Very Clean. Service was friendly. Comes in handy in a pinch (when ya gotta be in the emergency room). Patient says the cupcake is "very good." can't beat it.“

“Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“Such a sweet spot. Staff is kind and attentive. They do not rush you. The decore reminds me of a curated antique store with Victorian inspiration. Very clean and calm. Purple yam latte was yummy.
Not really a study place. They don't have wifi and please don't bring laptops per the sign.“

“Went here for the first time, here are my thoughts:

Customer service: Great! Very welcoming and kind.

Food: The breakfast was AMAZING! I purchased the P.O.A.M and hazelnut latte with a beef stick. The presentation for everything was gorgeous! It tasted just as good as it looked.

Price: It was a bit on the pricey side but not to expensive. I spent roughly $40 for everything.

Parking: I went around 9am and there was plenty of free parking on the side street.

Atmosphere: I sat inside to eat and read a book. Very nice inside. Good amount of sunlight and cozy!

I HIGHLY recommend! I found this place while driving one day and no regrets.“

“In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! “We passed by this popular store front with lots of people enjoying their treats and decided to get one ourselves.
The waiting line for the kiosk was longer than the delivery of the ice cream itself. The ice cream was fairly creamy and cold. The cone was crunchy as desired.
Matcha taste was a tad bit strong, but good for acquired taste.“

“Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. Mr. Khalit is kindhearted and seems to love his job. I’m so glad I found this gem and definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity!“

“The Polo Lounge is such a great place! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and another couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary! The food was delicious! The portions are appropriate so you're not totally full before your main course even comes. The atmosphere is a fun. There's a lounge singer and couples dancing. It was lovely to watch and we were sitting in our booth. There was a wedding going on, but it did not bother the restaurant at all. We will be back every year for our anniversary after bring married at Westbury Manor. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere will keep us coming back!“

“My granddaughter wanted to go because of the popovers and chicken broth served before every meal. They were great, but then who needed lunch? We ended up taking most of our food home. I especially liked the daylight streaming through the large windows which made it feel like eating outdoors.“

“I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

When our PTSA requested a donation for our Supermarket Bingo they didn’t hesitate for a second. 🙏🏽

There was love in that sandwich and I tasted it . Super sweet and welcoming ladies , I can’t wait to go back and try something new“

On Sunday’s they include little extra breads with every order, which are freshly made and super delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go try the empanadas as well!
