“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“The food at Abu Zayn was delicious! Everything was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. “I have been going to this place after school with my friends for quite a time now, at first I tried not to eat out because my mom is used to make us food at home. But after a couple of weeks coming in hungry after school ended, I would buy from Taza. The food is insanely amazing, especially the loaded fries, they have a variety of mexican and other culture foods that you can try out. It gets you hooked instantly, once you try it, you keep coming over again. Portions are 100% worth the money and the staff is incredible, very polite and engaging!

The food is EXCELLENT as always, and I'm obsessed with the Buffin muffins ($~6) and overnight oats ($~9), although the latter are a bit too pricey. My favs are the Welcome to the Sno buffin (which tastes like those viral pink squishy chocolate snowball pastries and are good even when frozen, also has a cream filling) and the Fitella overnight oats (very filling). Cash register has some excellent protein bar recommendations next to it, I always grab one. The meals are always good no matter what I get, and they are priced around $11-12. My favorite is the Soho Steakbowl, which comes with marinated steak strips and sweet potato fries, and is $12. I miss the Egg White Muffins, they need to bring them back!!! Same with the Tres Leches buffin!! Whenever I come here I grab 10 meals for a discount, and they last me a work week.“

“We visited this week on a whim and Meli Modern did not disappoint. My husband loved the lamb chops and I had the octopus which came sliced and was delicious. The lamb and feta ravioli were different in all the best ways. There is also a white cosmo on the drink menu that I highly recommend. We will definitely return.“

“What an incredible dining experience at The Silent Sea in City Island, Bronx! From the location to the atmosphere and, of course, the food, everything was outstanding!

The restaurant is perfectly situated right at the entrance to City Island, and having parking available in the back is a huge plus, especially in this area. The atmosphere alone deserves an 11 out of 10!

We started with several appetizers, and every single one was delicious. The Greek fries were hands down the best fries I’ve ever had! The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh, the fried calamari was cooked to perfection, and the fried sardines were absolutely delicious.

For dinner, we ordered the lobster and the baked branzino. Both dishes were exceptional, not only in flavor but also in presentation. You can tell that attention is given to every detail.

Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and a beautiful setting. I highly recommend visiting The Silent Sea! Definitely a place worth coming back to!“

“Really nice spot to satisfy a seafood craving! Everything felt very clean and tasted good. I’m personally not a big fan of “chaotic” dishes, so I really enjoyed how simple yet delicious everything was. I usually take pictures, but I forgot to take picture of any of the dishes i ate here because it was gone so quick.

Definitely recommend the scallops and octopus for appetizers and loved the orata and lobster roll for mains. My partner said he really enjoyed the burger as well!

Customer service was also excellent, from the time we came into the time we left everyone was extremely considerate and friendly.
