And the prices were much more reasonable than what we found in other Mexican restaurants in midtown. We went back 3 more times during our 10 day stay in NYC. Highly recommended.“

Aromatic dishes, good looking, tasty, filling and warming, prepared on site in front of the customer in an open kitchen. Delicious spicy homemade sauces. Very polite service taking the order with a smile.

Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. The chicken was so juicy and they were very generous with the chicken and sauce. So delicious but also so dangerous that I’m so close by“

“Shame on me for not visiting this food truck earlier. This is by far the best food truck for Italian sausage and Philly cheesesteak and only $12 each What a bargain.

Everything cooked right in front of you hot and fresh and did I mention the outstanding service the two gentleman in the truck provided. Both so warm and inviting, made me feel like a regular though it was my first time.

No doubt I will be back soon to try out the rest of the menu, including hotdogs and knishes.

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

Or in our case, wanting a Sunday night 10pm taco after driving 8 hours. We had tacos al pastor and birrierria - EXCELLENT. Fresh little double corn tortilla tacos with the radish and lime. “This truck is the closest I've come to eating true, authentic Venezuelan food in years. Everything I've had here is fresh and so flavorful, you can tell the ingredients are of the best quality.

Food aside, the people that work it are welcoming and so sweet! If you're not Venezuelan they take the time to walk you through the menu/give recs, and if you are Venezuelan they are a much needed dose of home. Everything is delicious, but the cachapas and tequeños are unreal.

“I've been eating New York City halal cart food since 1998 when my wife worked on the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue. I would grab a mixed platter from Halal Guys while I waited for her.

Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.

My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!

In all seriousness, this place is legit so try it out.“
