Well, I cannot say "ever" anymore because AWS is EXCELLENT. The smoothies are REAL, not watered down, and they even cut up some fresh fruit for my highly selective child to eat from a cup. I could not be more satisfied. Quality product and great people. THIS is how you run a business.“

The açaí comes from a machine (like soft serve), which I feel gives a better consistency than some places that might blend it too thick or thin. Look, açaí bowls are expensive practically everywhere. Why not go somewhere like Oak Berry where you get UNLIMITED options?? So many great things to choose from here!

Vegetarian options: There isn’t any meat here. And although there are a few non-vegan options, almost everything is vegan as well.

“Green Mandala is one of our new go-to spot for smoothies and açaí bowls in NYC! We visited their location on E 28th St, and it was such a pleasant experience. The shop is cozy, super clean, and has a great vibe with friendly staff. It also had a good value to price ratio. They offered so many different options. We'd definitely go back for more! “My one stop shop! Anytime I am in the area I make sure to always swing by for my juice or a snack. You have all the options you could desire while still keeping it nice and healthy. From the amazing avocado toast (never gets old my fav) , to a Cesar wrap and oh let’s not forget their Açaí Bowls!!!! “TLDR: Shakes are really good, great customer service, kept the door open for us to grab something with about 10 minutes before scheduled closing time. Call ahead if you want to grab something if its close to closing time.

When my partner and I decided that we wanted to grab a juice late on a rainy Sunday, we saw that Jenny on the Greens was open but closing soon. We hopped on our bikes and headed to the spot, and sadly, saw that the store was closed about 10-15 minutes early.

Andre profusely apologized and told us if we had called, he would have happily kept the shop open for us. We told him that we understood, and he asked what side of town we lived at. When he heard how far we had traveled (from the south side of Prospect Park), he smacked his teeth and demanded that we come inside, saying he would feel terrible if he didn't make us one of his best smoothies.

We were so happy that he made this accommodation that we told him to make whatever was the most convenient, easy-to-make thing that would be tasty. He insisted that we have the #30 shake, his best seller, and that while it was full of several fresh ingredients that required him to almost reopen half his kitchen, he would be doing us a disservice if we did not have one of the most delicious options on his menu.

Andre was not lying - the shake hit the spot. It was filling, didn't make me feel too gassy like some protein shakes often do, and we made a new friend. We sat outside enjoying the strangely cool June evening, and Andre actually suggested we go hang out at the bar next door if we were cold. As he finished closing his shop, another person walked by and said hello to Andre, letting us know that our experience wasn't unique, and that Andre and his shop were truly one of the spots that serve the neighborhood.“

I recently tried their protein shakes which I love BUT I noticed they do not put the full serving in the protein shakes. The protein serving size is 2 scoops. They only give you one scoop and I was asked to pay for the second scoop. Shouldn’t a protein shake come with the full serving?

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in .
