“There are two Chinese food restaurants within walking distance of each other in Manlius. #1 Kitchen, and China Cafe. As someone new to the Manlius area and looking for the best option, I prefer #1 Kitchen. I ordered the same meal from both places; Sesame Chicken, rice, veggie spring roll, and crab Rangoon. #1 Kitchen had better sesame chicken and rice, but China Cafe has better Crab Rangoon and spring rolls. Moving forward, I will definitely be choosing #1 Kitchen!“

“Hands down the best Chinese food in all of CNY. I've tried many different places in the area and like to get the Sesame Chicken and House Special Chow Mei Fun at each place to compare. This place is the best in both of those dishes by far and everything else I get continues to be amazing. Their teriyaki chicken appetizer is also a fav for me these days.
The people are exceptionally nice too. They load you to the gills with each order too. The containers barely can fit it all. We end up with leftovers for days. And then! They stuff us with bonus goodies like donuts, fried spring and pork rolls.
Easily the best place anywhere in CNY for quality of food, quantity of food, pleasant and warm people, and excellent customer service.
The ONLY critique would be their phone line can sometimes be a challenge to get through so you might have to try a few times.“

“Just stumbled upon this restaurant 25 minutes from my home and I am FLOORED! 100% the BEST Chinese Food I have had since I lived in Tennessee... And I LOVE Asian Cuisine, so I just settle these days but this is THE BEST! Amazing Customer Service, They gave me kids a FREE 2-Liter because there was an extra 4 minute wait... Which we weren't even upset about! They value their customers and clearly take pride in the recipes they prepare! My husband had their Thai food, he said that was amazing too!

Best Crab Ragoon, AMAZING Egg Rolls, Bourbon Chicken was unique and SO Flavorful! Fresh Fried Rice, Spectacular Sesame Chicken, and the Chicken and Mushrooms was DROOL WORTHY!

“Food tastes great with authentic Sichuan flavors. Dishes were spicy, flavorful, and enjoyable overall. However, prices felt a bit high considering the portions and quality. Service was okay but could definitely use some improvement. Still a solid place to visit occasionally if you’re craving good Sichuan cuisine.“

“This Chinese is the best in atleast 30 miles, probably much farther. Morrisville and hamilton Chinese is ALWAYS slimy and wet, this place has never been so, even after a 20min drive home with it. The egg rolls are a standout, boasting a perfect balance of crispiness and flavor without being overly oily. The mystery behind their preparation intrigues me. Additionally, my son consistently enjoys the General Tso, appreciating the consistently excellent taste with every order. “Absolutely delicious and our favorite in the area now for Chinese and Japanese! We love that there is both (and more) on the menu as we clash on what to have sometimes. Their sushi is also fresh and plentiful. The wonton soup was amazing and the fried rice was very tasty. The best part is that it wasn't overly salty which always pushes me away from other restaurants in the area serving this type of food. Highly recommend.“

“Great spices, good char and smoke on the barbecue skewers. It tastes super traditional and is reminiscent of street skewers and beer I'd grab late nights or after work. This is the kind of food that is meant to enjoyed in groups and with some beer to aromatize the spices and smoke in the meat. Prioritize the skewers and dry/spicy options on the menu as this place specializes in that. As is traditional in Chinese restaurants, they offer a wide expanse of options that may not reflect their specialty. I hope this place takes off and they can continue to grow/improve their service. I will be bringing friends here in the future.“

“We get takeout from here about twice a month and are never disappointed! I have two daughters who live out of town and always request this as one of their meals when they visit. The noodles and flavorful, the vegetables always fresh, and the spice levels are well balanced.The restaurant is owned and run by a local family. They're always helpful and friendly and the prep time is excellent.“
