“I’ve been coming here since they first opened back in 2018. Fast forward to now, they are our only bagel shop and the only place I would trust with my coffee. They are a family owned business and treat you like family. The bagels and spreads are perfect, they have a large variety of flavors, all of which are super tasty. Bake A Bagel is the best bagel shop of all time, hands down.“

“Green Mandala is one of our new go-to spot for smoothies and açaí bowls in NYC! We visited their location on E 28th St, and it was such a pleasant experience. The shop is cozy, super clean, and has a great vibe with friendly staff. It also had a good value to price ratio. They offered so many different options. We'd definitely go back for more! The Blue Dragon smoothie and Classic Nut Butter are a must try.

“We stumbled across AWS Juice randomly coming out of 68th street station and OMG can’t say enough good things. My sister is the pickiest kid in the world but she is obsessed with the mango juice from here, and when I went to pick her up one he was in the process of closing. He made an exception for me and reopened to make her a smoothie. NYC needs more pleasant interactions, and this is an establishment I hope stays for good 💕“

“I am leaving this review so the restaurant knows!! While I love this place and want it to succeed. My taco had mold in it and I ate a few bites of it before noticing!!! They roll the tacos so you can’t see until you bite into it. Hoping they see this and adjust their storage techniques!!!! Since they sell juices and smoothies we need this stuff to be fresh. “Amazing first time experience, the staff is very friendly and helpful when choosing what to get. They explain everything and suggest what you may like. It’s all really fresh too no powdered or anything they chop up the fruits and veggies right in front of you before they blend it. “TLDR: Shakes are really good, great customer service, kept the door open for us to grab something with about 10 minutes before scheduled closing time. Call ahead if you want to grab something if its close to closing time.

When my partner and I decided that we wanted to grab a juice late on a rainy Sunday, we saw that Jenny on the Greens was open but closing soon. We hopped on our bikes and headed to the spot, and sadly, saw that the store was closed about 10-15 minutes early.

Andre profusely apologized and told us if we had called, he would have happily kept the shop open for us. We told him that we understood, and he asked what side of town we lived at. When he heard how far we had traveled (from the south side of Prospect Park), he smacked his teeth and demanded that we come inside, saying he would feel terrible if he didn't make us one of his best smoothies.

We were so happy that he made this accommodation that we told him to make whatever was the most convenient, easy-to-make thing that would be tasty. He insisted that we have the #30 shake, his best seller, and that while it was full of several fresh ingredients that required him to almost reopen half his kitchen, he would be doing us a disservice if we did not have one of the most delicious options on his menu.

Andre was not lying - the shake hit the spot. It was filling, didn't make me feel too gassy like some protein shakes often do, and we made a new friend. We sat outside enjoying the strangely cool June evening, and Andre actually suggested we go hang out at the bar next door if we were cold. As he finished closing his shop, another person walked by and said hello to Andre, letting us know that our experience wasn't unique, and that Andre and his shop were truly one of the spots that serve the neighborhood.“

“Been to so many smoothie places asking for #21 the health shake but nobody can do it like he does it, he’s very nice and understanding as well as quick with making your drink. “Came here with my sister for lunch and had a wonderful. The cafe is so cute and the menu is quite extensive (there’s just so many options, you’ll have to come back!). Our waitress was the sweetest and answered any questions/concerns that we had. I got the hamachi don and my sister got the katsu. Both were delicious and the portions are filling! I will definitely come back.“

“After what felt like a whole day of Laundry on a hot summer day in NYC (clean laundry in background haha). My sisters’ choice of treat was trying out this place Mango Mania 😌.

First glimpse this place was bright and filled with snacks & sweets! [Aka Paradise] All the Mexican chips you can think of. Array of assorted Mexican candies [which are my cup of tea].

I went with the Tamarindoñada. I ordered a small and it was huge! It was actually bigger than the picture. I just happened to take lots of bites and think “oh man this needs a review”. The tamarind was fresh - felt homemade. It had tamarind icee as well if I’m not mistaken. Really delicious and refreshing for the insanely hot day. 10/10 🔥

We also got an Elote (corn on a stick), açaí bowl with peanut butter and a Mangoñada. Which I believe their ratings were high too.

“Kiwi Line is a small restaurant but with a very pleasant space to enjoy a good açaí bowl. The place is cozy and simple, which makes it inviting to sit down and eat, although I do think they should improve the air circulation or add better cooling since it gets quite hot inside, and that takes away from the overall comfort of the experience.

The açaí bowl itself was excellent: great flavor, a generous portion of fruit, and a good serving of açaí, making it both fresh and filling. It’s definitely one of the good spots in Queens if you’re looking for a well-prepared açaí bowl.

My rating is four stars instead of five because of one detail that I think is important for customer service. When paying with a credit card, they charge an additional 4% fee. In my opinion, this should be factored into the restaurant’s operating costs and not passed on to the customer. That change would make the experience much more transparent and positive.

Overall, Kiwi Line is a good place to enjoy an açaí bowl in Queens, with solid quality and flavor, but with room for improvement in comfort inside the store and in the credit card fee policy.“
