“Had a great experience here! Can't wait to come back. The food was amazing and the beer selection was great. The staff was really what made our experience so wonderful. They were very attentive and timely. Asked if everything was good everytime something was brought to the table. Super friendly and happy. The manager was always on the floor checking in on the customers as well and funny! The staff was just happy to be working there. We've been to 2 other burgerologies and this was the best one. Highly recommend!!!“

“Nice place to stop in if you’re looking for a laid back environment. A very casual sit down restaurant. Love the rustic style design of the place. Beef burger is amazing. Fiancee got the bean stalk burger (which is typically a vegan option but asked for beef) and said it was delicious. Both burgers were cooked to what we requested. Also amazing fried pickles! Would recommend. Staff was very good, very efficient.“

“Best hamburger hotdog place that serves great beer near Hosfstra University. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“Today was the first time we've ever ordered from Smashburger. I was intreged with the bogo burger deal and ordered from seamless. the burgers were still hot and juicy when they arrived and fries with garlic, rosemary and olive oil were honestly the best fries Ive ever had plus the Brussels sprouts were amazing!! “Every time I come to Long Island, Applebee’s is my go-to spot. The food is always delicious, and they keep adding even more tasty options to the menu that never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome, which makes the whole experience even better. I love the atmosphere—it’s close to the airport so you can see planes flying by, and inside you’ve got big NFL games on the TV screens, which is perfect for game day. Plus, being able to order food and play games right from the mini tablet at the table makes it both fun and convenient. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat when I’m here!“

1) August 6, 2025 (Wed). Had a double cheeseburger
2) August 15, 2025 (Fri). Had a Whopper, large fries, & Hershey sundae
Gets very busy unlike most Burger Kings. In a busy area. There’s an abandoned Burger King in the back. Cool artifact of history. Looks like it’s been closed since the 90’s. Has a Coke Freestyle Machine. But sometimes it’s out of flavors. Can get free fries in the app. Dined in both times.“

“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

The only problem is occasionally a very drunk, very loud, very short, very smelly stuttering patron comes in and ruins it for everyone.

He keeps telling everyone he is a celebrity 30 years ago, and is like 60, but hits on 20-somethings non-stop, brags about doing coke in the bathroom, etc. He ruins it. If you go in and you see this guy, leave.“

Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect.
