“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

“My family and I were in Easport for a basketball tournament for my son and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. This was absolutely a hit!! The food was delicious! Service was great. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. We had the chicken burrito/chicken tacos and chicken quesadilla. Absolutely delicious!! I would say it's enough to share! We all had left overs. This place is feels like a small piece of Mexico here in NY. Highly recommend to check them out!“

“Absolutely delicious 🤤 was given a sample of the chicken bacon ranch today(they just gave me as a bonus 😍) it was really perfect. I also picked up some other special slices and they are just as good. All the staff is above and beyond polite and such a beautiful team. We always feel welcome and full. They are fast and have great pizza!“

Parking: It's E L.I.- parking generally not an issue. Small shopping center (aka "strip mall") plenty of parking near the storefront.“

“I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad I did it's not the nicest part of coram but don't let that scare you off the food was made fresh the cook was fantastic and helped me choose because I told him I'm Irish and not familiar with Spanish food only taco bell fast food. He made me delicious mouth watering FRESH chicken tacos. I'm looking forward to the next meal he makes me. Give them a try I'm so glad I did and with taco bell opening in coram it would be a shame if you didn't try this place and only ate taco bell you would be missing out on something ?“

“I went there with my Latin friend she's Amazing ? and the people in there my Latin brother's made me feel so much at home ❤️ Even showed me some dance moves as well. I was the only black person I'm there but they welcomed me with open arm's, even met two cool men who we're coming from out of state at the bar, paid for our drinks, also another brother did the same ??? “Even though our son is a professional chef and we think of ourselves as "foodies," we have only limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. That's going to change, because we will absolutely go back to Taino's to explore more of the menu. We went around 6-ish on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday, and the only other patrons were at the bar. They appeared to be regulars, and the vibe was warm and casual. Coconut shrimp is one of my guilty pleasures and I order it every time I see it on a menu. Tainos' was quite possibly the best I've ever had: enormous shrimp coated in batter and flaked coconut, fried to crispy perfection and served with a to-die-for coconut dipping sauce. I'm also a skirt steak junkie, so ordered the Churrasco al la Parrilla which is served with a large serving of rice, bowl of red beans and chimichurri sauce, all presented beautifully, complete with an orchid. I was so full from the shrimp, I took nearly all of my entree home. Our lovely waitress (also the bartender) packed up my leftovers so they were just as attractive and appetizing the next day. Everything, including the steak, reheated perfectly. Granted, at my age I have a small appetite, but I'll be finishing the second (!) half of my steak, rice and beans tonight (night #3). Our son ordered the chicken Canasta de Platano (plantain 'baskets') appetizer and grudgingly gave me only a tiny (delicious) taste. Husband ordered fried cheese, and ate a whole piece even before I could take a photo. Again, I was allowed only one bite, but know I'll order my own the next time we're there. He also ordered the skirt steak, but our son tried the Colombian platter (steak, avocado, pork cracklings, fried egg, rice and more), which he loved. He gave me the sweet corn cakes which I devoured. Can't wait to try "mofungo," which seems to be a signature dish. The oxtails look fabulous, too.“

“The place looks like a hole in the wall but you will not regret eating there. The tacos are absolutely delicious! For the most part very authentic, loaded with amazing flavor. The burritos are big and on point! Do not hesitate to get a taco or even the hot food being served here. It’s going to be delicious“
