“At a person who lives here in Mechanicville and gets food from here often this place really is a nice place to eat on a good day. The staff working is usually pretty friendly especially Stephen, Levi, Tom, and Caleb. Sometimes they can be packed and it does effect the workplace and stress. But overall it's not that bad of a place. Just gotta focus more on getting orders right and staying on top of things. Also fix the machines lol. I would like a frappe soon.“

“I recently had the chance to try the chicken wings from your establishment for the first time, and I have to say they were absolutely outstanding. My father picked them up, and from the first bite it was clear that a lot of care goes into how they are prepared. The wings were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and fried to exactly the right level. They were tossed in just the right amount of sauce, giving them great flavor without overpowering the texture of the wing itself. Chicken wings are one of those foods that are surprisingly difficult to get just right, but these were done with clear precision. The balance of crispiness, seasoning, and sauce made them some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was flavorful and consistent, which really stood out. This was my first time trying anything from your menu, and after such a great experience with the wings, I’m looking forward to coming back and exploring more of what you offer. If the rest of the menu matches the quality of the wings, I’m sure it will be well worth the visit. I highly recommend giving the chicken wings a try—you won’t be disappointed.“

“We recently approached the owner of Sammy Cohens (Lisa) with a last minute request to host a small wedding at their restaurant. We will never regret that decision!!!! Lisa met with the Future Bride and Groom, helped them with menu items, decor for the banquet room and worked with them to plan their wedding and reception with less than a weeks notice!!! They prepared the room which looked beautiful, arranged for two servers (Courtney and Will: Love them both to pieces), who were beyond amazing, set up a trellis for a backdrop, decorated the tables and served the MOST amazing food! The experience from the first phone call to the end of the reception was picture perfect! Every single guest commented how great the food was and how beautiful the banquet room looked. Lisa could not have done more for us, she was excited for us and treated us like family. She met with the bride and groom two times before the wedding to ensure everything would be as they hoped, and checked in on the venue. And.....her prices were absolutely amazing!! We have a wonderful gift sitting right here in Schaghticoke and we are lucky to have a nice restaurant where we can go out and eat locally, and it is owned by someone who not only cares about the community, but each individual person who approaches her with a special (and very last minute) request. Lisa, you made their wedding day a perfect memory in their lives!!!“

“We had my daughters wedding here this past weekend and our experience was AMAZING. We wanted our reception there and Michelle and Tina were so easy to work with and very accommodating, with many helpful suggestions. Then a couple of weeks ago the ceremony venue fell through - Michelle to the rescue! Her response is almost always “no problem, we can help you”. They left their beach bar tent up an extra week, cleaned it out, helped us set it up and even painted over a sign for us! It ended up being a beautiful space for the ceremony. The reception.. the food was delicious, the service was impeccable.. not intrusive but friendly and always there. We are so happy we chose Dock Browns - it was a perfect day we will remember forever.“

“We were up visiting some friends who brought us here on our way to the airport. I was expecting decent food and beer. What we got was a very positive, spunky and great attitude from Ella our server. The food and beer both turned out great but we all loved Ella’s positivity and just all around pleasant attitude. Even if the food came out just ok you would have gotten five stars from me just because of her. People don’t talk or act like that anymore and it was a great experience!“
