“I decided to order from the newly-opened Tonnam on a whim for dinner tonight, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Everything in my order was excellent - spring rolls, curry puff (a samosa-esque appetizer I was particularly fond of), and pad thai. They serve a variety of bubble tea as well, and the menu has a nice overall variety. I'll be back for sure; try them out!“

“Hands down, Best protein shakes on the island. Honestly can’t be compared, only thing that comes close is smoothie king and the closest one is in Manhattan. Salad so fresh it doesn’t even need dressing, once you start chomping down you’ll forget to put dressing on it. Great selection of supplements, best brands on the market are found here. Let’s not forget the snacks. If you like protein bars then you know how hard it is to find ones that are healthy and actually tasty. You don’t have to worry about that here, I’ve yet to eat a protein bar from this place and put it down. Lastly, the European coffee they use is top brand in Europe. There isn’t a coffee shop in Europe without that emblem (illy) in their windows. Great place, great service, great people, great food, great coffee, great shakes, and great products. “I am the Executive Director at a local senior living community. Our residents have been requesting that we order takeout pizza to switch things up a bit for our dinner service. I placed a large order at the last minute and couldn't be more impressed with how kind and generous they were in the process. “Service was quick and efficient. We called them a half hour before they were going to close, and they did 2 large pies for us for a pick-up order.
I'm a NYC pizza guy, and this might be the best pizza on LI. It will give any NYC pizza a run for its money.
I was in the area because my sister in law lives down the block. We will be back every time the family gets together in Port Jeff.
We will try some of their dinners next time, but the pizza gets 4 stars, for sure.

“We have had a couple of our regular haunts for sushi, and had a menu from the mail from Mizu, so we ordered to-go. The selection was better than many of the surrounding sushi joints in nearby towns, and it the rolls were better overall. Prices were a bit less, but it also helps that they give a 10% discount for online ordering. And, online they also gave a free appetizer if you were over $50. The garlic roll was interesting, and unique, and the menu has a decent number of non-tempura (fried) cooked rolls which is a nice change also. Inside the restaurant there was only a couple of tables, so they probably do most business to-go.“

“Never truly have been a fan of bagels, but stumbling upon this gem has changed that. Staff is always sweet no matter who I get, owner is always present and ready to step in when busy and check in with customers. Environment is always clean and presentable. Now let’s talk about their Asiago toasted cheese bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese! Amazing! All their bagels are delicious and always fresh. They have a variety of specialty bagels which are always fun to try out and make a great breakfast sandwich out of. 5 stars are fully deserved, thank you Bigger Bagel!“

“I was walking to the train station and hungry. I didn't want to go to a bar restaurant to order food, I wanted something quiet. I didn't see one on the way to the station until I saw an open sign behind the building and took a chance, it was a Mexican restaurant.

I ordered a chicken burrito, it was huge and tasty. Twice as big as Chipotle and it came with chips and sauce. Great deal, $17 and awesome service.“

I think this change would be profitable for the owners and enjoyable for the customers... and I think it world bring in more customers, as I go to different steak houses for my Prime fix. They have some of the best burgers in town and, in season, an awesome sauerbraten.“

Lately, my husband and I love going for a nice lunch around 1pm on a weekday and we sit at the bar and take our time. I usually order everything to share and this time we even had leftovers!
