“I have to admit, I DO NOT eat sushi at all. I brought my wife because she loves sushi and it was her birthday. I did my research and all the reviews were very positive. I decided to indulge even though I thought I wouldn’t like the meal. Much to my surprise I loved the meal and my wife was in all her glory. Watching the chefs prepare each course with the precision and attention to detail was great. These chefs really take pride in their craft. 10 out of 10!! Must try again!!!“

“Really nice place with a rustic, romantic vibe. The food and service was excellent. Served hot and nicely portioned. Cesar salad was your with anchovies and dressed just right. Artichoke and spinach flatbread appetizer was excellent also.
My girlfriend got the Tuscan chicken over spaghetti and was a really nice portion. It needed a little salt but otherwise was perfect. I got the orrechetti with sausage and broccoli rabe and was very good. Sausage could have been cooked a little less and there could have been more broccoli rabe, but was still enjoyable. One other thing, they asked if I wanted cheese sprinkled on top, which I loved, but they used the wrong cheese. Instead of sprinkling grated Romano, they spooned on shredded parmesan. Not really appropriate for that dish.

The service was amazing, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to enjoy a night out. I’m looking forward to going back when the weather is a bit warmer and eating on their back deck. “Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. If you want terrific food, great service, and a delightful ambiance, try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!!!“

“food is always big portions and usually very good! penne aka vodka is my favorite along with the wraps. they definitely need to work on the zucchini chips though which are more like medallions than chips lol so thick you can’t even bite through them.“
