“Im glad we have this location and the acai is usually fine but the service is not that great. I had placed an order online and When I arrived nothing was ready. She then seemed upset at me that she hadn’t made the bowl when it was her error. I wasn’t upset or anything, I just waited and said thank you and got no response. She didn’t say one word and as a service industry employee I think communication is important.“

“I love Playa Bowls! Even though I’m closer to the Oceanside location, I make the drive to Merrick because the Team is fantastic!! Teresa, Eli, Adriana, Jaelyn and Quinn deserve to be recognized for their outstanding performance!!

“Stopped in for the first time today and will definitely be back! Super clean and bright made for a very welcoming environment. I got the Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was delish - next time i’ll get the Arugula salad, also looks amazing! The owner is super sweet and friendly. Will be back again!“

“Daisy from Sobol is beyond the best cashier I have ever come across. The first night I came in at about 6:53 just 7 mins before closing and she said she just cashed out so she made one on the house for me. Booster!!! Then I came in yesterday on my bday June 4th 1986 / 2025 and she gave me my second bowl on the house. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for Daisy bc she’s the bomb.com. Third ones on me though. She not only left a smile on my face but also in my heart. Thank you Daisy you rock“

“Lauren and Felicia made my order and it was delicious! I had a problem with my doordash order (door dashes fault not Sobols) and Lauren and Felicia quickly resolved it and remade my order after my doordash driver dropped it and it exploded all over the bag. They’re super friendly and great hard workers. I’ll definitely be ordering from this location again :)“

“Our first time ordering here. The food was good, and I don't know how they're making their whipped cream but it was absolutely amazing. But I really wrote this to say a thank you to the Sunday morning staff there on 10/12. There was a mix up and we didnt get a lg part of our order. Bagel chalet had their driver drop off our missing items in less than 15mins. There's no accountability for restaurants in the age of door dash/ uber eats. Ive had entire orders swapped out and restaurants blame Uber, Uber blames the restaurant, we get a credit and no one cares where the mess up was.“
