And to make things better, JP is a world class employee and always maintains a positive attitude, even when there is a never ending line throughout his workday! He communicates with his customers and tends to make those around him smile and appreciate both the food served and his hard work and good communication. I have also had nothing but good interactions with another previous employee: Viv! Both are/were stellar workers that made me want to return for more purchases just from their friendliness! “Im glad we have this location and the acai is usually fine but the service is not that great. I had placed an order online and When I arrived nothing was ready. She then seemed upset at me that she hadn’t made the bowl when it was her error. I wasn’t upset or anything, I just waited and said thank you and got no response. She didn’t say one word and as a service industry employee I think communication is important.“
“Went in for a detox smoothie with my co-workers. Was having an RA flare up so my hands were inflamed and hurting. The server recommended my detox drink but added energy boosters to help combat the fatigue from the flare-up, and instead of the whey protein he added peanut butter. Not only was it great tasting, but it was also the pick me up I needed to get through the fatigue. Awesome display of needs analysis by the server. The place was immaculate and such a welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. I'm definitely giving my 5 stars and my return business!“
“My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good coffee in Nassau county!“
“This smoothie shop is one of the best in area in terms of pricing, quality and staff. Every time you enter, you're greeted with positivity and I truly appreciate the ability to customize all of the ingredients in your order. Often times, it's hard to find smoothie places that can make drinks without the added sugar (either through juices or purees), but every drink I've had from here has always exceeded my expectations. “Cute little local coffee spot right across from the train station. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

“Store was pretty clean.Service was pretty good there's a couple young kids in there but they were very respectful and it was helpful with the menu being that I haven't been there before. This location hasn't been open too long it's probably a year and a half that it has been open. I got the mango papaya smoothie that was pretty good. My sister had a strawberry lemon smoothie which was good as well. Prices are fair definitely will be back.“
