“My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. It's one of the few places that offers endless customizations so I can actually get vegan food on long Island! They even have soy protein!The staff is astonishingly helpful and kind. The last time I ordered, I switched out for soy protein but forgot to remove the bacon when I ordered from the app. They called me immediately before making my order to make sure I wanted bacon in there. “Cute little local coffee spot right across from the train station. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

I believe it was Kayla's choice or barrista choice, something like that, so good! What impressed me the most was a young lady named " Kayla" who helped me with my coffee. It is nice to write a good review on a place that you love but it is very rare when you find people that truly love their job and what they do, especially teenagers. Kayla was super sweet, patient, she listened and got my order right to the tee. You can tell she loves and appreciates what she does. I would gladly tip her every time on her service. “Store was pretty clean.Service was pretty good there's a couple young kids in there but they were very respectful and it was helpful with the menu being that I haven't been there before. This location hasn't been open too long it's probably a year and a half that it has been open. I got the mango papaya smoothie that was pretty good. What was interesting to learn is that none of the smoothies are made with milk, only water and the protein powder!The consistency of the smoothies was perfect: not very thick, not watery. Crystal told us that they are meant to be meal replacements and should therefore keep one full for 2-3 hours. “This has been my beach for 58 years. I've seen the beach grow. I've seen the beach shrink. I've seen play items. Come and go. It's a great beach. It's protected by the Robert Moses sand bar. The food is good and fairly priced for being at a beach. They've added a bar area and it looks good. I'm not a drinker so I wouldn't know. The best thing they've added is closed showers. You can wash off and more showers outside to rinse feet. I love the upstairs area when I go in the winter it's protected, but you still get to enjoy the beach.“
