“6 of us had dinner ,don't understand why this place isn't packed each night. The food here is always fabulous. Had a lovely waitress and the food did not disappoint. Rice balls and sausage with cherry peppers as appetizers both excellent. Chicken franchise was tender and the side of spaghetti is usually a throw in but this place makes it special.

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“My wife and I went here last night for our Valentines Day dinner (yes a few weeks late) on recommendation from some friends. Our waitress Jackie was very accommodating and friendly. We had the fried risotto balls and parm truffle croquettes for appetizers which were very good, and that’s where it ended. We got a call from our baby sitter saying one of our kids was getting a fever and was acting out of sorts. We’ve never had to, but felt that it was time to leave early. We asked if we could wrap our pasta up to go, which they were great about. We paid for what we ate so far and left, knowing we would eventually come back. As I got into the car, I saw someone running towards us. As they got closer I realized it was Jackie our waitress. I thought I left my wallet (which wouldn’t be a surprise) but she said the entrees just finished and they wanted us to have them. I didn’t pay for that part of our meal and I asked if I could, but Jackie said they insisted it was on the house because of our situation. We couldn’t believe it; one of the nicest things I’ve encountered. After a 30 minute drive home and putting four kids to bed, we ate out to-go boxes an hour later, and they were incredible. The food is very good, unique spins on dishes with ingredients that pair very well. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food. The restaurant is deceivingly large when you look from the outside. But it was the service that set it apart. We can’t wait to stick around for dessert next time!“

“I have loved everything I have eaten here. The only thing I am not a fan of is the pizza. Staff makes you feel like family. The dinning room is small yet spacious. Every time we eat there we end up talking to other tables. I drive quite a distance to eat here. If you go you have to try the baked clams. They only serve cherry stone clams. So so good.

“Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Port Jefferson. And glad we did. Got here early enough that we could get a table right away. Steve took great care of us without being overbearing. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“

“This is my all time favorite place. Great for a quick bite or a sit down. I recently had a birthday dinner celebration here and not only did everyone absolutely love the food and atmosphere but the service was phenomenal as well. The owner is the nicest restaurant owner I have ever met. Every time my boyfriend and I dine there we say we just had the best meal of our lives. Then we go back again and it just keeps getting better. “They catered our party and the food was fabulous. Their meatballs are soft and the best we’ve tasted. The trays were filled to the top. The chicken parm, chicken francaise, and pasta dishes were great. Hero was great too. I was a little hesitant hiring them only because I had never used them before. I decided to use them because we had gone there for dinner a few times and loved the meatballs and other dishes (chicken bruschetta for one) and their homemade dipping sauce for their bread. I could be happy with the dipping sauce and bread alone, delicious! We will definitely use them again to cater. They delivered and were right on time.“

“Pizza and calzones are always burnt, effecting the taste. Even when you ask the staff to cook it lightly, they still burn them. Calzones have way too much mozzarella cheese, and not enough ricotta cheese. Burnt is the norm here. Staff are friendly.“

“Rocco's Pizza is a 5/5. I have been going there 10 years+. My eldest son was the first fan of the Buffalo chicken and Marsala pizza slices when we first moved to Patchogue. Now my youngest son also loves the Buffalo chicken slices. The atmosphere is friendly and the employees greet you with a smile! The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. I’ve said this numerous times I believe since I moved to this area there’s no sense of even going anywhere else I’m a big pizza person the Sicilian in the regular or some of the best I’ve ever had the chicken bacon ranch is probably the best slice of pizza I ever had in my 56 years. The people are kind the workers are great it’s just no need to go anywhere else. Great deal on Tuesday and the slices are always huge, I’m shocked sometimes the size of a slice. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“
